OXO Good Grips Glass Pie Plate

A nice deep glass pie pan and a roomy lid that fits perfectly. Even cooking and I love that it's glass so you can see how everything is cooking. I had zero problems with the lid, which arrived with no damage and fits securely. I would recommend and will be buying more items from this manufacturer.

LOVE the OXO products!! Can’t wait to use this pie plate. I read the reviews and certainly relate to all of the negative comments about the shipping of this item. Amazon needs to add protection to the glass pie plate and the plastic cover. Mine was received undamaged. However, that was a miracle. Because it was packaged in a very large box with other things and obviously bounced around in that large box, with only a single piece of paper and did not provide ANY cushion. Why ship a glass and plastic product without any protection?????

This is perfect for taller pies with whipped toppings or meringue. Very sturdy. Top is easy to put on and take off. Highly recommend!

I wanted a way to store round dishes (quiches, clafoutis, etc.) in the fridge with a fitted lid to prevent them from drying out. This item, with a slosh-proof lid, sounded like it would fit the bill, however the lid has slots which defeats my intended purpose. (The slots are visible in the item picture, but I didn't notice them before purchasing.) The slots would work nicely for transporting a hot pie to a potluck, but they won't work for retaining freshness in the fridge. Also of note, the lid is not a tight fit, so while sloshing will be minimized, it is not slosh-proof. It's a good price for an otherwise good product, so I'll still keep the container, but I still need something sealed for the fridge.

I’ve bought two of these. It’s great to have something that protects your pie. Even a meringue pie doesn’t get squished. It’s not air tight, which is fine for pie. I sometimes put a store bought pie in a tin pan directly in the pie dish so that I can put a lid on. I also like that the lid is bigger than the dish so the crusts don’t get smooshed.

Good price point on this. The lid stays on well and washes well. Nothing bad to say about it. Function and a nice presence. Shows off the pie well and stores leftover without wasting wrap paper.

Ich konnte den Artikel leider nicht testen, da irgendjemand bei Amazom es für eine gute Idee hielt, eine GLASSCHÜSSEL mit PLASTIKDECKEL ohne jegliche Füllstoffe/Schutz in einem zu großen Karton zu verschicken. Artikel kam defekt an.

Best pie plate ever!! My grandmother who I learned to bake from would have approved. The lid provides room for those tall apple and meringues and when not in use. Store neatly underneath resting under the glass pie plate for easy storage. BONUS! Both are so easy to clean.

I don't like baking in tin, always afraid of stuff leaching into the food and I needed a pie plate with a lid. I figured glass plus lid would be perfect for my needs and it is! I couldn't be happier with this dish. The depth is quite a bit deeper than a regular shallow pie plate which means you can make many other things. The lid is made of a strong durable plastic that has little clips on each side to hold it on. I'm going to order another one so I can still bake while this one is in the fridge :)

Great product. I bought this particular style because the lid keeps it fresh and it is to table and great for storing in fridge and cupboard.
