This dead sea salt is actually quite awesome. I went through a very stressful period in my life (death of a loved one) and started constantly breaking out in hives. I saw several allergists, dermatologists and other doctors but none of them could figure it out. They all chalked it up to severe stress. The hives persisted for over 6 months. He continued to explain the benefits and while he was blow drying my hair, I went on Amazon and ordered a bag of Minera. I thought the product was a bit expensive so I just ordered a small bag to try it out. To be honest, I didn't go with high hopes but I filled up the bathtub and added 2 cups of salt anyway. After sitting in the bath for 30 minutes, I felt better. But the big difference is when I got out of the tub and looked at my skin in the mirror, the scratch marks were already 10% lighter ! I thought it was a temporary result but the next morning when I looked in the mirror, the marks had definitely faded a bit. So I bought a few more bags and have been taking a bath 2-3x per week. The difference has been remarkable. Not only have the hives calmed down significantly, all of the scratch marks on my arms and legs continue to fade. Plus the calming bath has been extremely helpful for de-stressing. I wish this product was a bit less expensive but as they saying goes, "You get what you pay for".

My son has eczema and broke out in rashes about 2 months ago. We tried everything we could think of. I have only used this product one time and already see results. I have guttate psoriasis so I break out every few years and although mine is already clearing on it's own I can definitely see how people with chronic psoriasis love this stuff. It did sting my psoriasis spots but that only lasted a minute or two. Lets face it it's salt there will be a stinging sensation in spots that aren't normal skin. However, I immediately noticed that my skin was unbelievably smooth. There was no drying but I did put a lotion on afterwards. I used BWC lotion which is perfume free etc. as although people with psoriasis are supposed to use HEAVY moisturizers I can not because the greasy feeling irritates my skin. bwc is a thick moisturizer that is not greasy so the sea salt and lotion mix was like heaven for my skin. I am very excited to see results after a week of tanning and sea salt baths. Also my skin has a nice glow to it and I can run my fingers across my psoriasis spots and it feels like normal skin no irritation. As an added note I did extensive heavy research on which brand of sea salt to buy. I'm happy to say I picked the right company to purchase from because the salt is the real deal! Look no where else if you one the real deal this is it.

This is my first time trying this product in my Bath Tub, I have to remember to shower off after my Bath Tub soak as directed on the package. I will say my Skin does feel better, especially during the Winter Months, will continue to purchase in the future, was worth it.

You know why you are buying Dead Sea salt, so I won't bore you with all of its properties. This is the real deal (there are a lot of fakes on Amazon). The price fluctuates heavily, so be careful. If this is for the tub, I recommend fine grain as it dissolves more easily/faster. They say that you can make some scrub out of this, and I would never do that. Each grain has different surfaces all around. Mechanical exfoliation is only putting you at risk for micro-cuts and other skin problems. With that said, it is a great tool in the tub. I didn't notice a huge difference in my psoriasis, but it definitely isn't hurting. Your skin comes out soft. I would use this on a bath to relax and not on a bath when you are going to clean yourself. I do not like to soak with 10 different products in the water. It's a great time to do a face mask or to pour yourself a glass of wine and catch up on your reading. It can also be 20 minutes when you tell your kids ''I don't care. Hold it in. Mommy/Daddy needs this soothing time or he/she will go on a murderous rampage. Holding it in for 20 minutes is the best option, trust me!'' I'm not a parent by the way, but I'm going to assume that you can buy a bag of this for the CPS worker that will show up at your door once the kids complain at school and this worker should understand that you're not a bad parent. You're just getting some much-needed ''me'' time to prevent yourself from becoming a monster. NB: I am not responsible for any child welfare investigations or kids soiling themselves! I don't have kids because I'm a total narcissist. Take my advice with a grain of salt....Minera Fine Grain Dead Sea Salt, preferably!
