Senville 18,000 BTU Floor Console Mini Split AC/Heating System, Floor/Ceiling Mounted, 16 Ft. Install Kit, 208/230V, White

This is my fourth DIY install, my 2nd Senville. I highly recommend this model. I’ve been pleased with all mini split installs however it’s been several months since I’ve installed this one, it arrived within less than a week after purchase. This unit chills the entire second floor of my home; it is very quiet. Running on turbo it’s slightly louder however on regular and eco mode the fan sounds is equivalent to a ceiling fan. It works fabulously. Room is set at 68 degrees and I never turn it off. My utility bill is actually cheaper as the lower story AC is not constantly running. This is my favorite of all, the airflow is great you can feel the air actually blowing on you 10 feet and greater away from the unit. I choose the floor unit for this reason as heat always rises I wanted airflow down low so it chills the room more evenly than the higher mounted ceiling units. The cost is slightly more than the lower seer options however the savings on electrical and the amount of power and the efficiency will pay off in the long run. I can’t say enough things about this unit. It’s the best thing I’ve done to this home. As far as installation is very easy and straight forward install you will need to vacuum down the system and that’s the hardest part. If you know electrical, know how to use a drill and a measuring tape you can handle this.

Straight forward install, works great, whisper quiet. Was a good solution for my sunroom since I couldn’t fit on high with all of the windows.

Ive been a union hvac service tech for about 17 years. Worked on all the big names, mitu, fujitsu, daikin. Needed a floor console for the second level of my cape cod style home. Didnt want to pay the big name price. The thing that made me nervous about an amazon system was reliability. Senville has a warranty that is about the same as the big name... and it appears parts are available for these machines if there is a breakdown. Install was simple but would definitely recommend having a pro do it. Moisture and improper install is a compressor killer in these machines. To be thorough i pressure tested and triple evacuated the line set to 500 microns. Ive only had it running 3 days but it is super quiet and havent had any issues since start up. Warranty registration was easy. If anything changes I will updqte this review.

After installing last summer and meeting my expectations for cooling I decided to wait to see how it performed during winter before writing a review. I installed it in a finished attic bedroom with knee walls. Keeps the bedroom warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Only slight issue is since I had to mount it on the end wall is the temperature is a couple degrees different at the other end of the space although not a big deal. It has performed well and lowered my electric bill from the window air conditioner and space heater we used before that I ordered one for my living room.

Note that as of 2023 there is a new model that looks nicer than the prior model. Mine pictured is the newer model. The installation was very easy (this is my 3rd mini split install). Other 2 model I installed were Pioneer, and this Senville model is noticeably quieter. Instructions were not quite as well done as other models I have installed, but I can live with that.

When we originally ordered we were expecting the old version (senville has since updated the listing). This new unit is much nicer looking but was a bit larger than we were expecting. Install was just like any other mini split. You do need to vacuum the line sets before releasing the refrigerant. We have ours in our master bedroom which is a bit larger than what the output is rated for. No matter, the unit still gets it to temp in a couple hours and maintains it beautifully. It is incredibly quiet. Even at max power it is practically silent. Very nice unit.

Well built unit. Extremely quiet operation. Very efficient heats our 1955 built 2000 sqft home in NW Oregon for less than $300 per year! We were paying that much every 2 months during the winter to the gas company to heat with a forced air gas furnace. Unit did not have the wifi controller installed so can comment about that. Came with line set and wires. Only real complaint is the instruction manual is poorly written. If you have not installed a ductless unit before spend some time watching utube videos and you'll be fine.

A wonderful unit. We installed it in our finished basement, and wanted the floor model to hopefully warm the floor. It is really amazing how well it works. I can now go barefoot, even on the hardwood floors. It is so quiet it doesn’t disturb you even when watching tv. Even the bedroom on the opposite side of the basement is so warm no other heat source needs to be turned on. I cannot rave enough about this product, we are beyond happy with our purchase.

Great mini splits and great service support from supplier.

I had a small problem with accuracy of the temperature .Sam from senville fix it fast .now the system reading temperature from the remote .i m happy again. Thank you very mutch Sam ITS A 6 STAR SERVICE.
