This is a real heavy duty potjie pot. It has three legs that are longer than the standard size legs. The lid fits right and has a rim around the edge of the lid so you can put charcoal on top. Awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for.

I have a pot size 3. So far so good. I seasoned it and cooked a pot of Texas /Mexican Charro bean on top of an electric stove. (I have a smooth bottom # 3 pot.) Been raining in San Antonio so I had to cook inside. Will try it out on the.pit soon. Expect good results.

The pot seems to be ok, haven’t used it yet but the lid casting is terrible. I will have to try to clean it up.

We used this cauldron for a Halloween party. It works fine. The only problem and reason for middling rating was it had a small pinhole leak. I didn't have time to get it replaced so I repaired it with JB Weld.
