This stuff really works. I am specifically referring to the intestines and the act of elimination. I won't go into the details, but all I can say is that taking three capsules per day has revolutionized my bowels. This bilva powder is made from the leaves of a plant called "bael" (Aeagle marmelos) which has been a part of India's pharmacopoeia for 5000 years and is used for numerous treatments of diseases including tuberculosis, diabetes, urinary diseases, epilepsy and digestive disorders. It is also a source of nutrition being rich in alkaloids, polysaccharides, antioxidants, beta carotene, vitamin C, and Vitamin B. So overall it's a good thing to take and I am glad I have added it to my daily regimen of natural supplements.

This tastes delicious! Sort of sweet and has vanilla notes. Really unique! Amazing health benefits for digestion. I take this along with Triphala. Really nice to mix in warm water and drink as a tea. I’ve purchased a lot from Banyan Botanicals over the years and I’m never let down. The quality of their herbs are seriously among the best of the best.

The second order of this was solid. I had to break it apart. I like the product. It is beneficial which is why I took the time to break it up and still used it

I have been diagnosed with IBS after suffering for a few years. My Doc put me on a prescription that had BAD brain fog, extreme dry mouth & sleep disruption effects. It’s was awful. I found a Gastroenterologist speaking on YouTube about this Bael/Bilva fruit so I tried it. I stopped taking my medication completely and my IBS has all but disappeared! My DOG (chihuahua) has HGE (IBS in humans) and I started giving HER a tiny amount mixed in warm water twice a day and after 2 1/2 years of her suffering (she’s14yrs old) all her HGE symptoms has stopped (thank The Lord!). I would encourage you to at least try it. It’s all natural with no side affects that I have found. Pharmaceuticals have terrible side effects! What’s $15 to your health...as they say your gut is your 2nd brain. Be a friend to it and try this!

It was clumpy and taste was bitter. It should taste sweet not bitter. Will not try this brand again.

This has worked for me for a long time, but the last two times i have received it, it tasted bitter, earlier it used to taste sweet. Nevertheless i did give it a try but whenever i did i eneded up with upset stomach. Not sure if it's made of real bael fruit or not. Anyone who wants to try it just be cautious about this. If you feel upset stomach, i would suggest not taking it again.
