I’m really dissatisfied by this item seeing that It broke after 10 minutes! I pulled gently each time because I wasn’t sure how strong it was, but to my surprise it broke. Me and my son weren’t very happy since this little bike was our project. I was wondering if I could get a refund but probably not. Please do not buy this item and instead buy a more expensive alternative.

I’m not sure why people are complaining. First off it’s about the cheapest priced pull start on amazon. Next it is prone to breaking just like most others. Make sure and torque down snug all your bolts to it. And lastly to note, the gear drive on it is actually made of aluminum not plastic which I don’t see stated in the product details. So it’s much better than I thought it would be. Mounts right up with ease and for $8.95 if it last a little while great!
