I love this self tanner! The smell is very minimum, subtle and pleasant. Does not smell like previous self tanners including the old jergens that was a gradual tan. I usually take a shower at night and after an hour or so later ,I put on an application with my bare hands. I feel like there is little color immediately and by morning it turns a nice, natural tan. It does not transfer to clothing or sheets. Minimumly sticky and I'm not even sure the right word is sticky but my legs feel like they have on lotion even though it's dry and it's uncomfortable under sheets. So I put baby powder on them and then it's fine and comfortable. The only downside and this is probably only for older women with slightly crepey skin... If I put an application on more than 3 nights in a row, I feel it makes my skin look tan but older. I have figured out, one application is enough for 2 days of good tan.

This stuff works better than the fancy stuff I used to use, that cost three times as much!I apply it after I shower, I make sure I exfoliate my legs, and then I apply a little bit of lotion, and apply the mousse with an application mitt. No streaking, no uneven colors, no dark splotches, and most importantly, no weird looking "wood grain" because my shins were too dry. It's the only tanning product I've used that tells you that you can apply lotion first. It makes a huge difference! I only apply it to my legs, and a bottle lasts me almost a year. Some people have complained about a bad smell, I haven't noticed any fragrance to it at all.It doesn't come off on your sheets or clothing, and it lasts for a few days. I apply every 2-3 days, and get legs that have a nice, natural- looking tan all summer long!

This is honestly the best self tanner I’ve tried so far, especially for the price. The mousse texture makes a huge difference compared to lotions — it spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn’t feel sticky once it starts drying. Another big plus is the smell. It still has a slight self-tanner scent, but it’s much lighter and less overpowering than most others I’ve used.For anyone wondering about dry time: with a fan on, mine felt dry in about 30 minutes. I’d still recommend applying it about an hour before bed just to be safe. I also sleep on a dark blanket or dark sheets the night I use it in case of transfer or staining while it develops.One thing that really helped me get a smoother result was exfoliating about 48 hours beforehand instead of right before application. Prep with moisturizing matters a lot with this product because the color can cling darker to creases, ankles, knees, elbows, or anywhere your skin contours naturally unless you exfoliate a day earlier and moisturize before your application. If you rush the application, it can look patchy in spots. Using a mitt is essential, or else YOUR HANDS WILL GER VERY STAINED!!The biggest downside is the 12-hour development time, so applying an hour before bed and showering upon wake up is the ONLY practical option. That said, the color payoff is strong and gave me a gentle tan after two uses. I did two layers the second time and was pleased to see a faster color buildup compared to the night when I just went over my skin once.Overall, I’d recommend this if you want an affordable self tanner that develops into a noticible bronze color without the super harsh smell some products have. OK this season I decided to try out several different self-tanners and THIS WAS THE WINNER! I bought VERY expensive ones, middle-of the price range tanners with various applicators and this won out over all of them. The product is super easy to apply, dries fast, does not rub off and looks super natural! You can adjust the depth of color by adding more the next day if you want. For me this will be my go-to tanner!

Ok wow I had been using some old self tanner that I got off tiktok years ago, it just wasnt working tho. Thats why I got this just to see if all of the self tanners are equally ugly… WHOA. I was not aware of just how far self tanning technology has come. I dont think I have bough Jergens brand self tanner ever, I just passed it up at the store.Let me tell you this stuff is incredible. The tan is dark amd natural rather than orange and blatantly bad like the other stuff I bought years ago.. It goes on dark so you can see what you are doing, I did also purchase a mitt after my first application just to help smooth it out. Not only does it go on dark and look good instantly, but this color keeps developing for like 24 hours! I went to bed one color and woke up super tan and it looks so natural - dxcept where I screwed up on my feet be VERY cautious around the bottoms of your feet and ankles - it will show way worse later if you mess this up, and it doesn't come off easy. Which is good until you make a mistake. 5 stars great product user application is at fault for anyone giving less than 5 stars imo

Works to tan but I couldn’t stand it on me. I left it on a little while but it left me sticky and feeling gross. I finally had to jump back in the shower.

I absolutely loved this self-tanner! I chose the Light Bronze shade, and it gave my skin a beautiful, natural-looking glow without looking orange or fake. It was very easy to apply, blended evenly, and didn’t leave streaks.The color developed nicely and made my legs look smoother and more radiant. After considering Westmore Beauty I landed on the less expensive alternative, Jergens. Let’s just say that I applied it twice and showed up at my dermatologist’s office for my “mole patrol” and got scolded about having a tan. This goes on so easy and even. I am very happy with how natural it looks and it doesn’t wear off patchy making it look like Michael Jackson. It’s fantastic. Pro tip: if you use your hands to apply it don’t panic if it doesn’t wash off with soap. It comes off easily and quickly using Dawn Powerwash. I didn’t use it on my arms, only my legs that hadn’t seen sun yet. It was a great match.

Literally does not last two days. Comes off with a rub
