If i buy two of these in one order so they get keyed alike automatically as part of the transaction. how many keys will i get? four would be ideal.

The question, for any lock is not one for me to determine. It depends on the number of individuals who need access, to the need for some spare key if loss is suspected and could in some cases be problematic for security if too many keys are available for theft, copying or other means of violating the security of the device. This is a moderate security device, unlike a short-term use lock such as that on luggage or a high security device such as a Medeco lock. You can make as many copies as you need, the key seeming to be a standard Yale form. If you make too many copies you will have to live with the downside that creates.

If locked can the face be removed for mounting screw access.?

how do I use this on a double hung window?

You will have to mount horizontally on the lower window & drill the hole into the side of the window frame. There are metal window slide stops you can purchase that might be of benefit to you for windows--they sell them at Home Depot, Lowe's and other DIY stores.
