I bought this filter for my 14'x48" Bestway pool and It was the best decision I ever made. Great suction, great value for your money, and performs amazing! It's very easy to clean, and my water has never been more clear! Last year we had such a hard time keeping the water in our pool from getting cloudy, or green. It was the most frustrating thing and by the end of the year I had given up on it. I wanted a filter that was going to more than do the job And I'm very happy with my new sand filter! I use filter balls and everything has been so smooth! I have only added chlorine and shock and the water has remained crystal clear. It has a great flow compared to my last filter. I will say that the instructions are not very clear I'm putting it together, but YouTube helped with that and the assembly was actually fairly easy. This was a great buy and is a great quality pump!

We bought this filter for a large swimming pool and, although we had to purchase the sand separately at Walmart, the results have been very good. I’ve owned the pump for nearly two years now. Just uncovered it for the third summer, and it fired up without a hitch. I recall the instructions being a bit confusing, but after watching a couple of YouTube videos, it became fairly straightforward. Once, I had to replace the hose connecting the motor to the tank because it started leaking. It seemed like the elements had worn through it. Ordering a replacement was a breeze. The only ongoing challenge has been the pressure gauge – I’m on my fourth one (probably not the pump’s fault). This year, we upgraded to a 15’x42” Intex pool from our previous 12’x30". The pump still handles it beautifully. We also added a Hayward skimmer, and the combination has been fantastic. Overall, the filter was a great investment and definitely worth the money. When it eventually gives out, I’ll happily buy another.

Worked great last summer when I purchased but this spring it failed to function when I tried to open my pool this spring lasted less that a year.

Easy to setup and install. Doesn't come with hoses so you need to buy your own if you don't already have them. Doesnt come with filter media. Pump quality is good. Instructions are a bit vague but easily figured out. It does a phenomenal job moving water and filtering it especially when compared to paper filter types. Overall great for the price but not top of the line.

I’ve had this pump/filter for 2 years and I run it 24 hours a day and it’s still running. However, I was changing the filter medium and I broke the collar. Now I can’t seem to find how to get a replacement. I may just buy a whole new package because I’m not sure how much longer this 24 hr, work-horse, motor is going to run.

This filter/pump works so much better than the smaller pump that came with the pool! The only issue we have is that there is some light dripping around the hose connections coming off the pump. I'm hopeful that some different hose clamps will take care of it. If it doesn't, I'll still use it as is.

The multiport valve failed after 1 season (5 months) of use. Quality is very poor and most components aren't serviceable. The price is low but you get what you pay for.
