The DCW600B is compatible with the DEWALT 20V battery line. It is not compatible with any other Brand.

What is the run time you get out of a 2 amp, 4 amp, 5 amp battery?

Honestly I wouldn't recommend using a 2 amp at all. It would literally drain it in less than 5 minutes. I install cabinets and I use it for mini trenches for metal plating for the islands in the middle of kitchens. I need to do about 6-8 mini trenches about 2 inches wide by 20 in long and literally and drains a 6 amp battery in just that job.
