This 243 formula has a better resistance to oil which can be on a lot ...
Can't go wrong with the Loc-tite brand. High quality product that hasn't failed me yet! This 243 formula has a better resistance to oil which can be on a lot of hardware, and oil can cause failure of many threadlocking formulas. This formula is highly recommended where failure rates need to be at a minimum to none. I hope this helps your decision whether to purchase or not, if it did, please vote. Thank you!

243 Blue Loctite
Nothing much to say about this, it is Loctite, so a brief of what I use it for: I use the 243 blue to secure bolts on my Harley that I may need/want to remove later, and to secure grip nuts on my pistols. These are not things that I plan to remove anytime soon, and want to make sure they stay put until I may need to remove them. I use the Purple 222MS to secure grip screws, sight set screws and those few Harley bolts that I remove often. The purple holds against vibration, but is easy to break loose with a little torque. When I need to make sure something does not move at all, I use Loctite Red 262. This takes a lot of torque and heat to remove. Do NOT use this until you know how strong it is and you know how to remove it. Do NOT use this on any screw you want to remove.

Loctite 1329837 243 Blue Medium
Used it on the screws during installation of red dot sight. Sight takes a ponding because of the (recoil) during competition. The product also permits removal of screws by heating with hair dryer. Done carefully screws will not break.

Loctite 243 Surface Insensitive
Loctite 243 is a MUST in the R/C Helicopter World. The smaller bottles are more than enough for most kits out there and won't be a big hit to the wallet in between kit builds; where the larger bottles I've used just turned to putty after sitting for over a year. I stick with Loctite because it's worked Great for me in the past and without issue.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais ce n'est pas vraiment efficace pour fixer solidement une vis. On dirait que le produit ne sèche pas, il reste liquide. J'ai eu plus de succès avec du vernis à ongle!
