2+ Years Experience with Magpul Cases
I love the Magpul cases. I used one on my iPhone 5. I'm dinging it one star because over time they will loosen up and there will be a fair amount of play in the fit. When it does that, you'll probably want to buy a new one. Unfortunately that will probably happen at about a year, depending on how much you take it out. This case is awesome for the iPhone 6 Plus. I used the phone for three days without a case. It is a slippery beast. I was constantly afraid of dropping it during one-handed use. The Magpul case adds a ton of grip. The plastic is very grippy. And the ribs add a lot of gripping purchase. The case will provide some drop protection, but not on par with Otterbox or Lifeproof. I'll take the trade off as it's an easy case to slip on and off. I'll make good use of that feature when my jogging arm band comes in.Lastly, this case is made in the US. Magpul is a huge supporter of Us manufacturing. Terrific company. Their entire line up is dedicated to quality at a fair price.

Finally found the perfect case for my 6 Plus...MAGPUL!!!!!!!!!
I've been through about 8 or so cases in my search for the perfect one. I've tried Speck Candyshell Inked, Speck Candyshell Grip, Apple Leather, Tech21, and several off-brands. I can say that my search is officially over!! Without a doubt, the Magpul field case is the best and most affordable case for my Iphone 6 Plus that I have found...bar none. It offers all around great protection of my phone, no edges of the phone are exposed, it has fantastic grip, and even though my 6 Plus is large, the grip the Magpul has makes my phone feel secure in my fingers. The button sensitivity/responsiveness is impressive, and there's a nice lip around the screen, something which is sorely missing from the Tech21 and Apple leather cases. It's quite easy to put on and remove the case from the phone, which is definitely NOT what you experience with Speck, but at the same time, the Magpul fits the 6 Plus very snug, with no fear of it coming off unless I take it off. When you add to the fact that the Magpul is less than $15 compared to $35 & up for the Techh21/Speck, and a whopping $49 for the Apple leather....the choice for me was simple...Magpul all the way!!!!!!

I wanted to keep this...
I'm not happy having to write a negative review of this product. I was so happy to find a case that was made in the US and I wanted to like it and keep it and use it everyday, but, this wasn't going to work.Over the course of owning many phones, I have concluded that gravity doesn't always work with me. So, I want to, as much as possible, reduce the likelihood of dropping my phone, which means, I need a phone I can actually grip onto and isn't smooth, so I thought when I read this on the product description: "Textured surface and PMAG-style ribs for added grip" that this would work out well (that and the glowing reviews). I've always bought really grippy cases in the past which have prevented many cringe-worthy accidents, and I just assumed this would do the trick. No, it's not really textured in any way that is beneficial to gripping the phone. The material itself is textured, but that won't provide any extra grip. And the ribs don't really help you grip the phone unless you hold it a certain way. I put it down on my coffee table and noted how my dog's nose managed to slide it right across the table. So not only can't you grip onto it, it's pretty apparent that it can fall off of any surface or slide across any surface with great ease.Added an extra star because, unlike a lot of other similar cases out there, this one actually does follow through on its description of being compact and not adding a lot of bulk, which is pretty cool, but it's just too smooth/slippery and falls out far too quickly out of my pocket/hand/bag/etc. So it'll be going back to amazon.

Magpul Field Case ups and downs...UPDATED.
My Magpul experience has been hit or miss. On my iPhone 4, they were fantastic. On my iPhone 5, the phone would get too hot and the plastic expanded, so after about 6 months the phone would slide back and forth in the case (but wouldn't fall out!). I just received the case for my 6s Plus, and so far I think it will be better. It fits incredibly tight and the 6s+ doesn't heat up nearly as much as the 5 did, so I don't see the warping being an issue.Update:I've had my phone get very hot, to where I could feel it through the case, and there is zero movement. The plastic has not expanded/stretched at all, it still fits the phone as snug as the first day. It's dirty, it's been dropped, kicked, skipped across pavement. It doesn't show any signs of wear, the phone hasn't broken at all.

I have had the case for 2 months now and am still very pleased. I got one of the colored IPhones and hate putting a colored case taking away from the IPhone. This thing isn't crystal clear but it does allow the color of the IPhone through. The case isn't getting dirty looking but I generally am not using my phone when my hands are a tad dirty. The case has a great fit and I don't take it in and out so I am sure that is helping. The holes for the speaker and the bump outs for the volume and power button are all placed perfectly making the case have a great feel. Fits in my pocket fine, not that much larger than the phone itself and it can handle a few drops. No problems so far. Great product.

!UPDATE! Awesome Case and Made in the USA!
Update: I removed a star because after a few months the case started stretching. I posted a picture of it after about a year of use. Still a great case for the price.Awesome case. Has a very similar texture to the Magpul magazines. It is very light weight and provides excellent grip. It goes in and out of pockets with out any problem, because it is not rubbery it is more like a flexible plastic. Nice raised edge to protect the screen when laid on its face and the camera lens is also protected when it is laid on its back. Currently my favorite case. I'll be seeing if it fits my 6s plus next week.

It doesn't look like it has good grip - but it really does!
Compared to my other iPhone cases, there is no soft rubber, no straplet port, and lack of port covers. But it's got one thing my Trident Aegis didn't: the entire case has very good grip, no hard plastic for it to slide around. Note the "clear" material is actually closer to translucent. Now I understood why so many Amazon.com customers recommended Magpul cases.

Worth every penny
Excellent case. Couldn't be any happier.I had the Apple leather case which was no good in protecting the phone and as I am a rough user; I prefer this case.

It does provide really good protection to your iPhone 6 Plus
The material it uses is weapon-grade (exaggerating). It does provide really good protection to your iPhone 6 Plus. I needed a case like this for my phone, not any other fancy stylish case that claims it would provide same level of protection but it doesn't.
