Melling JB-2079 Engine Valve Lifter

Second time purchase for melling part. Always fits correctly and works as advertised. Good products..

These are not actually Melling lifters, after these lifters caused over $1,800 damage to my engine, i called Melling factory, and had them check these lifters out, and they are impostors. Warning do not buy these, or you will get screwed out of thousands of dollars, and suffer alot of damage.

Put them in my 06 harley. Same lifter 1/3 of the price as Harley.

I purchased a set (16) of Melling lifters and after having them installed in my Tahoe for 2 days, 3 of them flew apart.I would never recommend this product or any other Melling product to anyone. They denied any liability for the lifters needing to be replaced, after 3 of them flying apart. They claimed the lifters were put into an "environment" conducive to causing lifter malfunction ( whatever that means ). A new set from Advance Auto Parts were put in the same vehicle by the same mechanic and shop and the Tahoe is running perfect. This is Mellings excuse to get out of paying our expense of pulling their junk lifters back out and replacing them again. These are the exact lifters that I purchased for my 1997 Tahoe, and 3 of them flew apart in 2 days, costing an expensive bill to pay labor again to replace them.
