ZIKEY 6W GU10 LED Light Bulb Cool White 6000K, 600LM (Replacement for 60W Halogen Bulb) Energy-Saving Spotlight Bulb Non-dimmable - 10 Pack

I needed some  GU10 LED BULBS  for my kitchen center ceiling light fitting. The current ones that were installed were warm white. 4 out 5 gave up. Since we have day light under cabinet lights I went for the day light gu10 this time.Package content:10x GU10 LED lightsRemoved the existing lights and in these went straight. What a bright light these are. The kids say we would need glasses to enter in the kitchen its brighter than the ones we had installed in the bathroom….These are very bright – 6000Kelvin with 600LM.NOTE: I did contact the seller after I bought the lights for the warranty and unfortunately this comes with 3months as opposed to the other which light less brighter with a year or more than a year. GU10 bulbs are a problematic design for longevity. The bulbs are compact and often installed in fittings that are not conducive to effective cooling. For LED bulbs, that's a particular problem. The housing contains not only the LEDs, but the power control electronics to drive them from the mains. Keeping this lot cool enough to last is hard enough, but the demand for higher and higher brightness bulbs just makes the problem worse, as manufacturers drive them harder and harder. Good design, with effective materials and high-quality components, can help.This bulb exemplifies all that's problematic with cheap, high power GU10 bulbs. They look good. The cool white light is very bright. The design is contemporary. The lifespan is, in my experience, dreadful. I've used seven of this box of ten. The last three were fitted two months ago, alongside a couple of Aurora bulbs with a similar output that have been going for about three years. I've just had to replace these Zikey bulbs, as all three failed within three weeks of each other. That's worse than I've ever experienced.Frustrated by the longevity of cheap bulbs like this, I'm going back to a mainstream manufacturer. Their bulbs are more expensive and are rated lower (and now I know why; it's to help with lifespan). But a working lamp with a lower output is more useful than a failed lamp that was brighter when it worked.This is definitely a case of buy cheap, buy twice.

On a positive note these are the brightest GU10 LED bulbs I have purchased.However, I suspect that the 6w power output for these bulbs is the issue. I bought 10 of these bulbs last December. Over half had burnt out within the first half of this year. LEDs are very sensitive to heat and these are clearly getting can’t dissipate the heat quickly enough.I contacted the seller and they kindly dispatched another pack without charge. However it’s clearly a design issue as 12 months in I have had 13 bulbs burn out. The last bulb has broken in half revealing a circuit board wrapped in sellotape!If these had the longevity of other big brand LED bulbs then I would recommend them without hesitation. Sadly you will be replacing these within a few months of purchase.

I measured these LED 6W Bulbs on a professional Lux Meter.. And they measured half the luminosity of an equally similar ASDA 5W LED..ASDA 5W LED rates at 380lm..I even removed the front diffuser lens from a couple of these and the low lux reading was the same..Very poor really.. And nowhere near 600lm for sure..

My lights did not longer than few months before failing. They sent replacements, but these also failed within months.I note this is an issue for many buyers, and therefore most likely a fault with the design or component and faulty on purchase. However, although the listing states 20,000 hours, ZIKEY customer service said their warranty is a year and refused to replace or refund.ZIKEY say "The light bulb is a consumable item. Sorry, there is only one year warranty. It cannot be replaced after more than one year, and the profit is low."Although this would be covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, ZIKEY is based in China, so good luck getting your money back!

I replaced my eight 50w halogen GU10s with 370 lumen LEDs about 6 years ago but was disappointed with the brightness- and they cost over £10 each.These 600 lumen GU10s are VERY bright and have illuminated my kitchen perfectly. The cool white version is great for a work area like a kitchen. If you are lighting a leisure area like a lounge or dinning room use the warm white version otherwise the light is too stark.Nice to see the prices of LED lights coming down to a sensible level like these and still retaining good quality.

We bought a pack of ten and another pack of these (maybe 4 more) that covers 10 spotlights in a room. We've been through all of the bulbs now in 1 year.Considering they're LED, I believe they're meant to last 10000 hours per bulb. This hasn't been the case.Wonderful when they work but like I say, not long lasting enough.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was looking for a 600 Lumens Led Lamps.It was hard to find them. I mounted them on my house and they are very good.Actually, the only weak point is the illumination angle, which is only 38 degrees.But, I’m satisfied anyway.
