This is such a beautiful book! I love the colours and cover design and the layout inside is brilliant. The actual content of the book is great too and I love dipping in and out of it.

Seriously the best beauty book out there. It really is a guide for REAL LIFE so it's practical and easy to follow. A bonus is that the book is so well written - to the point, informative and very, very witty!

Absolutely love this book! I’ve gone back to it about 20 times and re-read it start to finish! Love Lisa Potter-Dixon especially! Huge fan of both authors though...such a great conversation between them both and amazing tips for make up and life!

Well written book that covers all the ins and outs of life, beauty, food and everything in between!!

What can I say about this book, this is the book that 14 year old me (much older than that now 23 years older) is crying that she didn’t own. If you like beauty a little or a lot, there is something for everyone and something new stands out each read. I have read it a few times since getting a copy at their book signing a couple of weeks ago (you also need to go follow them both on Instagram- 1) they are lovely ladies 2) their love and passion for the industry they work in, you can tell they love their jobs) and it really shows in this book 💕

Bought book for my 16yr old daughter, to read during lockdown, she enjoyed reading it and got some very good tips, she has just started a beauty course at college and a youtube channel.

First, the good things about this book: it has a high-quality cover, is printed on good paper and looks gorgeous. It feels "expensive". Sadly, that's where the good news ends. There aren't many pictures and some of the ones that are there, whilst very pretty, are irrelevant to the text. This means that there is no guide to the beauty techniques it is teaching you! The worst offender is probably the winged eyeliner page where the picture is totally different to what the text is telling you to do, but there are other examples. I bought this book hoping to learn new make-up techniques but the lack of pictures renders it next to useless. The writing is mostly basic beauty tips that you will already know if you've ever read a beauty magazine. I didn't pay the full RRP as I bought a secondhand copy but still feel a bit ripped off. One of the authors has another make-up book called "Easy On The Eyes" that actually has useful pictures and teaches some techniques so that might be a better buy.

This is the best guide on makeup for every occasion in your life. Lisa and Sophie are experts in the beauty field and are also hilarious. This is such a wonderful book full of useful information written in a funny manner, while being chock full of excellent advice.
