Excellent!
This fat wood is by far the richest in resin I've seen as of yet! It's like Glass...Rock hard and lights with just a spark from my ferro rod.

Simple Easy Fire starter that Works Every Time!
I bought the Fatwood Bundle the first time from a garden store and couldn't believe how easy and efficient it made starting fires. I'm in Minnesota so a fire in fall & winter isn't just for aesthetics! After 3 years I finally ran out and was back to newspaper - and knew I had to order more Fatwood. Curiously reviews for this Bundle were great but less so for Fatwood in larger amounts. Don't know why that would be. For me it's A++ and I don't want to ever build a fire without it! I am an excellent fire starter regardless of the materials - Fatwood just makes it easier. I have seen a few lesser "logical" people starting fires and wonder if some complaints were from some of those people. I don't expect these to ignite a large log without some kindling, pine cones etc. added before the larger log. That's why it's called "Building" a fire. If the log isn't fully aged it will need a lot more help of course - that's what I mean by logical. For me it's fabulous, less messy and a great time saver.

Reliable and effective
This little bundle comes with a piece of the wood on top for easy carrying. Its a neat little bundle of wood. The wood is great and works just like its supposed too. I enjoy having a product that I can trust to start a fire and I can walk away rather than getting up and down to fight with the fireplace for an hour. I wrap my sticks in some heavy paper to get them going. I read a review once by a former girl scout, she said, if u put two logs side by side and place fire starters on top the fire will start, then place a board on top once its going. This tip failed me only once. She said not to put them in a teepee shape and all these crazy patterns. I am grateful to her so I pass it on and take no credit for it.This is a reliable product.

Very nice and effective easy to get going with minimal paper in fact I've just lit the sticks on fire directly with a good result

Better wood products not necessarily better
Better wood products fatwood Not necessarily compared to plow and hearth some of the pieces are not even fat with they're just kindling they're also hugely unequal length some are short and stubby And they don't seem to be of equal quality probably not buying these again

This is a total ripoff
This is not a Bundle of wood, it is a tiny package with maybe 30ish pieces. Total waste of time and money, you can get double duraflame at Walmart for $10. I have given a rating of one because it makes you give a rating but it is truly a zero and does not deserve a rating. Do not spend your money on this product

love these
I love these sticks. We use them when car camping, as the wood for sale in the parks is usually very damp and difficult to light and it's illegal to gather kindling etc. in the woods. We split these sticks up really small, use them for tinder and a with couple of pieces for kindling it's fairly easy to light your fire. Bought these for my parents for them to use lighting the wood stove as well.A very handy product

Great starter. All-natural.
Amazing. Remember that you've been taught to build fires wrong all your life. Stack a pyramid of 4-5 DECREASING sizes of wood (large on the bottom) with a 1-2cm gaps in between so embers can fall. Just before your kindling layer at the top, put one of these sideways where you can light both ends. Bingo. Zero-maintenance fire for hours. Stupid Boy Scouts and their log cabins and teepee fire builds have wasted so much of my time and fire-enjoyment. I can't believe I wasted 32 years of my life building fires upside-down.

Awesome firestarter
Yes all fatwood it a little pricey but you know what? It’s worth it. This works awesome for starting campfires easily, it’s waterproof, lights easy. IT IS QUITE STICKY, so best to wear gloves unless you want to be all sticky.

Fatwood kindling
This stuff really works! I used it in damp conditions to light drizzle and it still lights a great campfire. It burns hot to help start even the toughest fires. The bundle is easily broken into smaller bundles for portability on camping adventures.

Amazing and ultra efficient
This product is amazing! What more can I say? We use 2 sticks and a volume of crumpled newspaper and I'm not sure we even need the newspaper with kindling on top and the fire is lit every time without fail. There is no petrochemical or noxious fuel smells, it is tidy and utlra efficient.
