Willow Tree Angel of Mine, sculpted hand-painted figure

Hi, I'm very happy with my Willow Tree Angel of Mine! Over the years I have ordered numerous items for X-mas gifts, birthday gifts and even for myself. I took it out of the box and checked it and it was perfect, wrapped up with card included. This one was for a friend of mine and her Daughter's baby shower. I ordered it on June 21 and received it two day's later on June 23. I wasn't sure if I would receive it in time because the baby shower was on June 25. So I had plenty of time to put it into a gift bag along with a card. She was very excited about it and really loved it, it touched her as this was her first baby and her Mom's first Grandchild. It was beautiful and a great baby shower gift. Thanks!!

This is a very heartwarming figurine.

This is a beautiful statue I got for my wife when we had our second child. She loved it. I love it. And it comes with an extra special bonus: It's haunted! We placed ours on a tower bookshelf next to a picture of our daughter. Over the next week, we were increasingly startled to see that each successive time we looked at it, it had moved slowly from its original position to be in front of the picture, then turned ninety degrees and moved forward to the center of the picture, then turned to face the picture as if it wanted to be looking at it. After seeing this, I placed the statue back in its original position. Once again, over the next few days, it made the same trip forward, turned, and then stopped and faced the picture. This happens every time I move it back to the original position. Of course, it's not REALLY haunted. I caught it in action once. The bottom isn't completely flat. When my toddler son runs around the house, the statue rocks back and forth very slightly, and jostles its way along the edge of the picture frame towards the center of the tower and the middle of the picture is. It's pretty creepy all the same!

This statue is beautiful and simple at the same time. It's sturdy and well made. I love the whole line of these statues.

Bought this for my granddaughter for our first great-grand baby girl born in Nov. She loved it and cherished it came from her Mimi. We collect these for special events.

La figura es preciosa, es triste saber que solo se ve de madera y que en el fondo es de resina y que son bastante delicadas pero sin dudas son muy bellas.

ich habe 2 dieser figuren als kleine aufmerksamkeit zusammen mit etwas geld für die kaffeekasse für das krankenhauspersonal ( kreißsaal umd station) gekauft, in dem unser kind auf die welt kam. ich bin normalerweise kein fan von "stehrumchen" wollte aber nicht die 200ste merci-packung oder blumen schenken. irgendwo im netz bin ich auf den tip mit diesen figuren gestossen und war sogleich überzeugt. die kleinen personen sind zurückhaltend und geschmackvoll gestaltet, ohne leblos oder kitschig zu wirken. im gegenteil- sie berühren mich irgendwie...( am liebsten würde ich noch eine für mich selbst kaufen). da ich mich ein bischen mit materialien und herstellungsprozessen auskenne, war mir klar, dass diese figuren - noch dazu zu dem preis!- nicht aus holz, oder gar persönlich von der designerin gefertigt sein können. wer das glaubt, ist wirklich weltfremd- und/ oder hat sich nicht die zeit genommen, die beschreibung zu lesen: da steht ganz deutlich, dass die originalfigur ( also der prototyp!) von susan lordi geschnitzt wird, und die serielle produktion mit guss in kunstharz geschieht... allerdings muss ich sagen, dass manche händler hier auf amazon die bezeichnung "holz" in der beschreibung führen, wo es richtig " holzoptik" heissen sollte. das ist wirklich irreführung. nichtsdesotzrotz sind die figuren gut verarbeitet und fühlen sich schwer und wertig an. wen der 'made in china'-aufkleber stört, dee möge ihn einfach entfernen, so wie ich es getan habe. dennoch- ist eine figur denn weniger schön, nur, weil sie in china hergestellt wurde? warum legen leute, die die herstellung in china kritisieren, diese massstäbe nicht auch woanders an- zum beispiel an ihren smartphones oder anderer elektronik? diesen kritikpunkt kann ich nicht verstehen. alle mäkeln an der herstellung in china herum, aber keiner will die preise bezahlen, die eine herstellung in deutschland/ europa kosten würde. dann würde diese figur hier nämlich mit mindestens 250 euro zu buche schlagen. insofern, danke, frau lordi, dass sie diese schönen skulpturen auch menschen zugänglich machen, die sich keine "originale" leisten können.
