straight swap out of the drive gear on a chamberlain 4000 garage door opener.I've included pictures of the item as compared to the worn out old one it's replacing.This drive gear is held in place by a 5mm wide roll pin below it as viewed in situ. The removal and replacement of this roll pin is the tricky bit of the whole operation. I recommend a 5mm roll pin punch if you haven't got one already and some silicone grease to lube up the new gear and regrease the other gears after you've cleaned them up some as part of your workflow. Make sure you apply a touch of WD40 to the roll pin the night before, it helps it come out much better.Plenty of videos on a certain video sharing website showing you the basic process. No, not the one you look at when the missus has gone to bed ;)

Told by the trade I cannot get the spare parts.I bought the spare bits off this site, easy to repair door lift with the bits, and saved £3000 to replace the lift with a new one, door running great. Thanks
