It's a book giving nomenclature to the various stances and movements of Kathak. Written by the legend of our times pt. Birju Maharaj Ji and definition of various terms in English by Saswati didi, it's a great book for all kathak teachers and practitioners. Page quality is too good and binding is hard bound, making it a sturdy book.

The media could not be loaded. It is a must have book for all the Kathak dancers and Kathak students.This book explains the body movements and aesthetics involved in Kathak along with pictures .. Some terms used in Kathak repertoire are briefed out too.The paper quality is really good. I can say the printing could have been better ( few places the print is towards very light). But it still is a good buy for me. :)You can check the video for a better idea.

An excellent book to understand the various Ang bhav of Kathak, pictorially explained by the one and only God of Kathak- Pandit Birju Maharajji.

This is quite expensive. Great presentation by one of the legends of Indian dance. Its quite a good view to see the nomenclature of the moves. Some are general and some special. Adding more details or adding more realistic references would have helped for any student of learning.
