A Gift Inside Classic Deluxe Fruit Basket

Gift: I sent this to my son and his girlfriend. A great pick-me-up surprise for after mid-term exams & just in time for Saint Valentine's Day! This is the second type basket I have sent them from this company! My son said the mango was so good & that all the other goodies were perfect! They even get good use out of the basket. I have also for myself ordered the dry fruit large tray combination with nuts-great fresh and tasty! I no doubt will order again! It's better than sending flowers for the right occasion and person. The delivery was super fast! Delivery was free! I did not expect they would get it on Valentine's Day: but, they received it a day before the estimated time frame so kudos to GOLDEN STATE FRUIT & UPS. You made this mom happy!

My friends informed me that they loved this gift i sent as a “get well” gift. They are very healthful eaters and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruits, nuts and assorted snacks.

I was happily surprised to receive this basket. Fruit was fresh and well wrapped. Also received cheese and crackers which really tasted good. Small box of candy included as well as small box of nuts. All these items nested in a large quantity of gold and brown crinkled packing material. Nice basket lined with tan material and tied to basket then topped off with a ribbon. Whole item then shrink-wrapped. For those who are tired of receiving flowers, this is a nice alternative for anyone.

My favorite Christmas gift! I ordered it from a gift certificate and had the most wonderful Christmas. When it arrived it looked exactly like the basket in the picture and even though it took four days to arrive, the fruit was just beginning to ripen. The cheese was delicious and the crackers and sweet treats were perfect. I highly recommend Gourmet Deluxe Fruit Basket Gift. I'm not going to wait for Christmas to order another one -- as a gift for someone special and for myself.

The worst! I ordered before Christmas came after a week in transit- the fruit was not great - 6 small pears were soft, the one mango was soft, the 2 apples had brown spots... I complained and they offered a free replacement - fine! They said it would take a week - I checked they said five days... I gout this morning the box has been in my driveway for 3 or 4 days which I didn’t know because it was supposed to arrive today!!!! The whole basket is frozen! And I can’t contact the company to complain because my order was more than 30 days which I doubt because I purchased the werk before Christmas - three werks... and all the fruit had stickers like you would find from cub or Walmart! Don’t choose this company!!!! The only thing good was the soft mango- the flavor was great but it was soft!

I was surprised by the quality of the basket. I had never heard of Golden State Fruit so wasn't sure what was being sent. I took the plunge and was happily surprised. I gave this as a gift and the recipient was thrilled. There was a huge variety of fruit which was fresh and plentiful (be sure to dig down to find things) as well as cheese and crackers. As far as I can tell, the basket was exactly as pictured My friend said it was one of the nicest she has ever received. I would not pay extra for a fancy ribbon, though. The basket was enough - if you need to say something, include a card.

Hi, I sent this fruit basket to my dear friend whose Dad just passed away. The wrapping and the presentation did not look pretty and nice as shown in the Amazon photo. Additionally, some of the fruit were missing. They only received 2 pears instead of 3 (the pears do not look fresh), 1 mangoes instead of 2 and 2 of oranges and mandarins. There were no 2 apples in the basket and 4 pieces of chocolate were not inside the wrapped gift box. I'm kind of disappointed as I have bought these items a several times .

The basket was nice with fruit, crackers, and cheese. It was obvious that it was packed with ice packs for the cheese. Unfortunately, my basket came with two ice packs that were completely hot, and the cheese was hot and melted. So I don’t know what happened, but the gift was not cold at all when it got to me. I had to throw the cheese away. I didn’t want to take a chance on getting food poisoning.
