Very good sturdy scale
We purchased it for our clinic in Honduras among the very poor. They are thrilled with it and I am sure it will serve them for many years. It was easy to assemble with the help of a few mechanics and is now in service. It has both metric and inches for height measurement and pounds and kilos for weight.

Good and bad, not sure yet.
Package contents:6 of 8 screws that should be attached.0 washers indicated in instructions.height measuring barbasevertical bar with balance scale and attachment for height measuring barhook tool for connecting the cable from the balance scale to the base.2 wheel dolly attachment for scale base.Packaging:A really big box but not very heavyscale packed in expanded polystyrene (styrofoam) inside.hook tool in small plastic bagscrews loose in the box. I would not have noticed if not for the rattling. The good:Easy to assemble. Just be sure to not tighten any screw until all screws are in.Easy to balance with a butter knife, flathead screwdriver or hook tool. My scale was off by almost 2 pounds as delivered but balanced it within 15 seconds. The bad:2 screws missing8 washers missingvery touchy on where you stand and HOW you stand on the scale. Small shifts in balance and position resulted in OVER 20 pounds difference in weight (not sure how far as I had to move the main weight and shifting my balance to do so changed to where moving was not required).Mitigating:I had a bad motorcycle accident years ago and my standing position is no longer normal and my left foot no longer wants to be flat on the base (or the floor). Adjusting for this over the years has affected my right foot causing the natural angle of the first joint of hallux to become more pronounced and my foot does not want to lay flat when standing.

Very accurate.
My husband put this together in about 15 minutes, with only a few minor issues with placement of one of the parts. We've had this scale for a few years now & it's still accurate within a pound of my doctor's scale. Have not had to recalibrate it since putting it in the kitchen.

Worst instruction I ever saw
There's a warning tied to a securing wire that says do NOT remove the other securing wire first or the whole thing will fall apart. There is NO mention of that in the instructions, which are so badly printed you can't make out the diagram. They refer to parts that are not labeled anywhere. Whoever wrote these instructions needs fired immediately and the instructions rewritten completely. Now let's see if I messed the whole thing up by doing it in the wrong order...

Disappointed
Difficult to assemble and small reading. Not very steady for price paid. Small platform and difficult to get on. Was expecting a scale you find at the doctor’s office but did not meet my expectations.

This is a very nice 'doctor's office' quality scale
This is a very nice 'doctor's office' quality scale. It did require assembly upon arrival and instructions were wanting. However, we were able to get it assembled and the scales adjusted, in due time. Would hesitate to recommend to those who might be lifting impaired and those lacking basic mechanical assembly skill.
