XXL 230 Gallon Deck Storage Box Outdoor Patio Container ~ White

This is a good box. Huge. Easy to.assemble by myself with a BFH (large rubber mallet). Not too heavy to slide around my plastic deck. And I love that it's not brown or beige! (It's just slightly off-white but goes with my white aluminum outdoor furniture.) Amazon has at least one cover that fits it perfectly. My only wish would be a price reduction. It's plastic after all, and most of the labor on this one was mine.

This product exceeded our expectations. The box arrived intact, all parts and instructions included. Assembly was easy, even for an old guy like me. Took about 40 minutes (I call BS on person who said it took them about 10 minutes), only 1 step where another person's help is needed. Rubber mallet helpful, not essential, same with an electric drill w/ low torque setting and Phillips bit. Instructions and assembly a little different from what's shown in a couple of videos, but here the difference = easier: the manufacturer eliminated a couple of steps that previously had to be done by purchaser. Printed instructions clear, but see comment below about labeling the actual parts to match instructions. Once assembled the box is RIGID... no floppiness or flimsiness. Only two quibbles. 1) I wish some of the parts were labeled clearly to match the part numbers in the printed instructions. If they were there I missed them. Still, everything went together just fine. 2) Plenty of screws were provided... far more than needed. The screws were of adequate length for fastening some parts, but I think some of them should have been longer so there'd be a more secure connection between certain other parts. Haven't been able yet to ascertain how weather proof the box will be in a windy downpour. Overall great purchase, pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness, goes very well with our deck (photo attached) and no hesitation at all about recommending this to other people.

Easy to assemble. Keeps our deck supplies dry during the summer and the cushions dry during the winter season. Looks nice on our deck.

I love this huge deck storage box, but the lid came damaged (see picture — bend lid edge) although doesn’t affect functionality, it is a bummer. It also is missing the back, left side cap on the lid. It can’t be seen, but bugs can get in. Even with those issues I give it a 4 stars. We have another smaller one by the same brand and it is also awesome. They both are sturdy, water proof, and with a great compression hinge for the lid so it is easy to open and close. Putting it together is somewhat easy... definitely easier with 2 people. Takes brut force or weight to snap things together, but once together it is solid. Since we live in a remote area without garbage service we use it as a way to hold garbage without having ugly garbage cans in front of the house. It holds a ton of bags — maybe eight 13 gallon bags and that isn’t even stacking them. It is huge. I just wish there was a way to order the missing piece. The seller has not responded.

Easy to put together, 2 people assembly made it quick. It’s a very deep container it’s able to hold my volleyball net and pool floats with room to spare. It’s been through 2 heavy rain storms already and everything inside was completely dry. Love that I was able to find a white option as well. It’s also tall enough that I can use it as a food counter when having parties and barbecues.

Over-all Very Happy with the Product. Biggest issue was the condition of the shipping box, The box had been roughly handled and was obviously re-packaged somewhere along the way. Luckily all the contents were in the box, however there were greasy handprints, all over the contents which are still not able to be totally cleaned. I could not send it back since the box was so deteriorated. I notified the seller they suggested I send back, not much else from them. Also, there are NO directions on how to assembly. I thought it may be just my box however on searching on-line seems this is the norm. I did find a video of a couple who put it together also without directions, so I just followed along with them.

There are no "written" instructions for putting this together, and they aren't needed. The instructions are all diagrams, showing how to put each piece together and in what order, and the instructions are simple to follow, once you pay attention to the diagram and make sure you have the pieces facing the correct direction. Most of the assembly is just inserting "tabs" into "slots" and using your fist to hammer the 2 pieces together (a rubber mallet would work as well). The pieces are so well made that this assembly process is 100% accurate...there was absolutely no thought of "well that was close but not quite". The only tool needed is a Philips head screwdriver for the hinges, the corner braces, the rear/center lid brace, the under-lid brace (part ID MG), and the lock/hasp. I would have called this perfect but the MG part I mentioned was missing. After careful review of the instruction diagram I decided that part was not critical to the sturdiness or weatherproof-ness of the box so I put it together without that piece. I did not want to return it and wait for a replacement to be delviered. I have reached out to the seller to see if I can get just that missing piece, but even if I can't I don't really care. The box is assembled and in use already. If you look at the 2nd pictue, with the lid open, the missing piece would go on the underside of the lid, at the very front edge of the lid. I can only think that it might provide a filler for an opening that might allow insects to get inside the box. Other than that, I'm not sure what its purpose would be. I'm using it on my deck to store my folding lawn chairs and some folding snack tables when they are not in use. We got a fair amonut of rain overnight last night and everyhing inside the box is perfectly dry.

This item was a gift for someone and they absolutely loved how roomy it is! Looks great too!

Assembly was quick and easy and very sturdy. Also, it was shipped earlier than expected.
