Needing to pull a wire through a sensitive area, this will do it.
Very good quality and price. Only drawback with any fish tape is they have the memory of being wound up and twist and turn to easily. However it doesn't damage paint and other items around where you are fishing your line and if near active electrical will not conduct electricity.

Go to tape
Excellent fish tape, great for 1/2in conduit. I use it every day. Not too flimsy and not too rigid, it's just right. The Velcro keeps it coiled up without having to use electrical tape.

Does not push through finished ceiling
I bought this fish tape with the intent of pushing it from one ceiling light to the next through the cavity between the 16” OC ceiling joists. Couldn’t push it but a few feet before it started curling into a circle. I guess it’s only good for pushing through pipe

Great product for us novice type.
Had a Cat6 I needed to route from Apple TV to modem. The Ethernet simply wouldn’t made the turns inside the wall. I tried a heavy duty steel fish tape and continued to have problems. Gave this fish tape a try, and it worked like a charm. It’s well worth the inexpensive price.

Follow the online wire diagram
Works well. Look at the wire installation and do it that way. I removed the red "cap" and achieved a tight 3/8" hole wire pull.

I recently used a fish tape wire for a home wiring project, and it made the job significantly easier. The tape was sturdy yet flexible enough to navigate through tight wall cavities, conduit, and around bends without kinking or snapping. Its non-conductive nylon coating was a major plus for safety when working near live wires. The handle and case were well-designed, offering a solid grip and smooth retraction. Feeding the wire was relatively easy, and the marked measurements on the tape helped track progress and estimate distances inside walls or ceilings. Whether you’re pulling cable through drywall, conduit, or insulation, this tool is a huge time-saver. It’s ideal for electricians and DIYers alike. Rating: 9/10 Strong, flexible, and easy to use—an essential tool for efficient wire pulling in electrical installations.

Worked perfectly trying to pull new HDMI cables through a PVC conduit with 4 90 degree bends the contractor put in. Best $20 I’ve spent!

This fishing tape works as well as any of the more expensive tapes, and is very sturdy. I have used it for almost a year now, fishing wires through boat hulls, and its has stood up very well with zero wear. I am very impressed.

Came quick and undamaged as described. Unfortunately, ot has a 'memory' of being coiled and does not want to straighten out as expected. As a result, there is a tendency to divert from a straight heading and can easily make a 'u-turn' inside a cavity especially when there are obstructions thereby defeating it's purpose.
