So far so good
I bought this after a long time of deliberating, and I’m very pleased so far. Once assembled it’s very sturdy, and it does make me sit up straighter when working at my desk. Very comfy on my knees, and it’s great you can adjust the height. The only thing I would say is that it’s not the easiest to adjust the height! I still end up slouching a little while sat, but not as bad as I used to. I’m not sure if it’s actually helped relieve my back pain or not, but it’s definitely helping my posture!

Would be 5 Stars if it wasn't Pleather
This chair was easy to assemble. With an electric screwdriver it took me under ten minutes by myself. There are only a few pieces and the instructions are clear. Adjusting the height of the chair is very simple. Overall, the chair is comfortable. For context, I am 186cm (6'1") tall and weigh almost 120kg (19 stone), so on the larger side. The chair does not creak under my weight, and my height is not a problem. I have seen other reviews have mentioned that it is no good if you have varicose veins. Not sure why, I am currently waiting for laser surgery on mine. I suppose it must depend on where they are (back of the knee and calf), so would be the same gamble with any chair? I do not think this type of chair in general should be used for long uninterrupted periods, as you put a lot of weight on your shins, which can be uncomfortable. My job requires me to stand up frequently, so I am able to deal with this, taking the weight off at least every 30 minutes. The only problem I have found is with the material that covers the cushions (sidebar, the cushions are very thick and comfortable for my 120kgs). It is a fake leather type of material, and it gets sweaty. I am generally a sweaty person, but I have had to change in to a shorts and t-shirt in February because it is making me just that sweaty. Sweaty skin on an angled pleather cushion causes slipping, so having to frequently adjust. Maybe if the knee rest was made of a tensioned mesh, like a typical office chair, rather than a plastic coated thick cushion, it would be better. Overall, I think it was a good purchase; there were two key reasons why I decided on a kneeling chair. A new addition to the family has turned my enormous home office in to a nursery, causing my dining table to take a part time job as an office desk during the day. This meant I had to use a dining chair, not designed to be sat on for 8 hours daily, as a replacement for a proper office chair. This is because a proper office chair with armrests does not fit nicely under a dining table. This has in turn caused me to suffer from back pain. Cue the kneeling chair; rolls underneath dining table for storage, and relieves back pain! It has definitely achieved both of these objectives.

£120 whoopee cushion
A bit clunky to assemble, but it's doable within half an hour. Well padded and quite comfortable to sit on. The hight adjustment comes with a a free angle adjustment due to the geometry -- that may be normal for at least the lower end of these chairs: at the lowest hight you're just sitting normally, at the highest, you're fully resting on your knees. Worst, though, in these working-from-home times, you want to make sure you don't shift you weight around during a conference call, or at least that you stay on mute while you do.

Finally able to sit down at a table with acute sciatica!
I don't write many reviews but I feel compelled to with this product because it is brilliant! I have recently spent 4 months trying to manage agonising sciatic pain right down one thigh, calf and leg, with aching, numbness, pins and needles and all the horrible symptoms one gets caused by a pro-lapsed S1/L5 disc and the cocktail of painkillers one uses to eleviate it.I had not sat down for over 3 months due to the sciatic pain I spent most of my time on the floor on my front propping myself up with 2 pillows under my chest. I worked on my laptop there and ate uncomfortably constantly getting indigestion and feeling uncomfortable. In desperation I tried buying a special foam cushion and then a a prop-up leaning stool both of which did not help me as they were probably for people with less severe sciatica. Then, after a bit of research I came across this kneeling chair. Although luckily I am finally improving now this kneeling chair took me back up to the land of the living! It was easily assembled (I managed to do it laying down and rolling around!) and I as soon as it was put together I was finally able to sit at a table like everyone else and be normal again and eat proper meals! I am 5ft 11in and it fits perfectly for me but is adjustable not only in the assembly but also with an adjustment bar when it is in all in place. I started off with just a few minutes a day - for breakfast or a coffee at a table and have since been able to go to eat a whole meal even in restaurants. The foam is thick and very spongyso it is possible to perch for a good couple of hours if you want comfortably - you can easily adjust how you sit to adjust how much weight you put on your knees versus your behind depending on how bad your sciatica is. It has been a great buy - hopefully I wont need it much once I am better but it is a life saver for someone like me who was fed up laying on the floor! It doesn't fold up but is not too heavy and can easily be transported on a car back seat or in a car boot. The only slightly negative point is that the coverings are vinyl - leather would make it perfect but slightly sweaty knees is a very small price to pay for the wonderful relief that this product has given me! If you have sciatica and cannot sit down I recommend buying one of these!! Thank you whoever makes it!

Avoid - simpy not comfortable or ergonomic
This is one of the most disappointing orders I've placed for several years on amazon. I'm disappointed by this as I took the time to review compared to other similar products. As a background I find kneeling chairs massively help my back and I have two other kneeling chairs I use at the office and at home (each different brands), so am familiar with the benefit they can bring. This purchase was to replace my previous kneeling chair used as home as it had become worn out. The packaging was good with clear instructions. The padding on the chair is also soft. However, the major issue is that the rear pad where you sit on is at such an angle, unnecessary pressure is placed on the knees since you are continually trying to stop your bottom sliding down. Additionally, the seat cushion is under pressure and trying to slide down due to the angle since the weight of your bottom is never directly down on it, this is straining the seams. I can't see this chair lasting for any time and due to the discomfort of the seated angle (despite various adjustment) I'm not using it. Quite simply avoid this; it isn't ergonomic or comfortable. Save yourself an expensive trip to the tip and find another product.

Lifesaver for L5 S1 disc herniation and sever sciatica
Ive been suffering from lower back pain on and off for the past 3 years and have been diagnosed with an L5 S1 disc herniation after another MRI scan. It flared up very severely over Christmas and caused severe sciatica for 7 weeks solid. Things got so bad pain wise, I could barely sleep more than a few hours at night (lucky if I got an hour at its worst) causing me to be off work for about 3 months. I tried everything, pillows under my pelvis, stomach sleeping, sleeping with pillows under legs and although some positions provided a bit of relief, it wasn't for long. Aside from being on a cocktail of strong painkillers, I am slowly getting out of this acute illness now and decided to purchase this chair after reading about it's benefits. i am going to have one at home and one for work being that I work as a primary school teacher and I am certain years of working at kiddie sized desks has caused this weakness in my spine. It was quick and easy to assemble and has allowed me to finally get back up off the floor. Finally, I can begin to sit for longer than 10 minutes, eat and drink upright for the first time in weeks, watch TV and start to strengthen my core muscles again. I would recommend for those that are suffering- it is worth the extra spend to finally get some pain relief.

Disappointed
Im a little disappointed with this chair. It isn't as comfortable as i thought and it a bit of a hassle to make it comfortable the seat feels like it is throwing me forward but i think again that is because i have to align and adjust the seat to my body. The instructions to but the chair together is simple enough but there is a section that says tall medium short and there is where i think the problem lies, what heights are considered tall medium and short and because this is the first step in putting the chair together it is a pain to then undo that part to adjust it. Also the foam in the seat is not very comfortable. I needed something that would put me in the correct posture as i am sitting at a desk all day and i am finding my core is weakening because of it so i thought this chair would help with that. I thought it would be comfortable enough for me to work my 35hr pw shifts. And i thought it would align my posture enough for me to learn to engage my core. Instead i am £50 quid down on a chair that takes up quite a but of space and not easy to store when not in use and is just sitting there taking up space.

Well-cushioned and does the job
The cushioning of this item is comfortably thick. While my previous ‘kneeling chair’ was really quite uncomfortable on my knees/shins due to only very thin padding on the kneeling section, this particular chair is very comfortable. I’m an osteopath by the way. I’ve omitted the “pain-relief” star-rating simply because not everyone’s problem is the same and two people with apparently similar muscle/joint conditions may require different approaches to seats and seated positions. Although, personally, my own back issues require this style of chair for occasional use, to give it any star-rating would be misleading. No-one can promise pain-relief although certain (so-called ‘ergonomic’) constructions *may* lessen the risk of further stresses and strains. The back two castor-wheels are extremely annoying. They often, extremely easily and with only a mere accidental touch, flick down into ’stop’ position and so I have to -pretty regularly - bend down (sometimes with a painful back) to slide the ’switch’ back up to disengage the brake and allow me to wheel around freely. Apart from the last annoying, locking castor-wheel feature... this is, overall, a good seat at a good price.

A Great Chair, But Not If You Have Bony Shins!
This is a great chair. It was reasonably easy to put together and had no missing parts like the one I had ordered before this one. I didn't have any problem getting it into my office and got it set up the way I thought I would like for it to be. One problem, which may not affect everyone, is that my shins are so bony that there is almost no padding between the bone and my skin! The chair provides a nice thick cushion to kneel on, but unless my shins develop calluses, it's not going to work for me, as getting up is agonizingly painful. I tried putting bubble wrap on the kneeling cushion, and that didn't help. Then this morning I put a honeycomb seat cushion that I had purchased previously on the kneeling cushion, and my shins are so sore from yesterday that I am sitting here writing this with my feet on the floor on either side of the chair - not quite what I had envisioned. Who would have thought??? As I said, this problem is not going to affect everyone - if you have enough "padding" on the front of your shins, this chair is going to be very comfortable for you. I'm not sure what to try next - I don't want to give up on this chair because it's good for my back, but my shins are so sensitive from sitting on it yesterday for a short period that I am really puzzled as to what to try next. Suggestions, anyone?

buona sedia (la conoscevo già)
Buono articolo, montaggio facile. Aveva un altro modelo in tissuto, ho scelto questo e davero la finta pelle nera è piu morbida. La spessore è piu grande, quindi piu commodo.

Much better than expected
I wanted to write a thorough review of this, because I was skeptical about it. I have tried various types of seating arrangements in the past, but with the Covid-19 thing, I am sitting much more for work in a day than I ever was before, and I have had noticeable tingling in my legs after awhile with conventional chairs. I am good at assembling things and I found this very easy. Well laid out and uncomplicated. Took me about 30 minutes. Just note that there are THREE sizes of screws. I first used the middle holes (for height) but ended up redoing it using the lowest setting. I sit at a conventional height desk but use a keyboard tray, so I type at the level of a well designed computer desk. The lowest chair setting is still higher than a conventional chair but not so high that it is uncomfortable or odd, and still well within the realm of good carpal tunnel prevention guidelines. I'm 5'6", 155 pounds as a point of reference for this review. With those measures, I have not had any concern about the sturdiness of the chair, but maybe worth noting that the weakest link might be the wheels, although personally I have had no problems with them at all. My first online meeting with this chair was 2.5 hours long. I've since had another long video-conference meeting. A good thing about this chair is that once I started getting uncomfortable in the standard sitting position I could easy shift my legs so that one or the other was extended, or a foot was propped up on the knee rest section. This was much easier for me to do than with a conventional chair, on which I'd tried sitting cross legged or one leg up to make a shift. I think the cushion design is well balanced between being firm but also soft, which to me speaks to good quality materials. Other chairs I've seen were too thin and it made a big difference over the long term comfort, it seems. I can't, of course, speak to if the cushion will wear out over time. I was concerned about my back wanting to slouch without a backrest, but in fact, with the seat angled the way it is, it more or less naturally keeps my back straight, which I was pleasantly surprised with. I have always been a bit of a sloucher and have never done well with backless chairs (such as benches), so this worked for me. I will not say this is a perfect solution to sitting for long periods, only because the only real perfect solution is to NOT SIT FOR LONG PERIODS! When that is not an option because of work settings, I definitely would recommend and buy this chair again. The fact that I wanted to mention it in the middle of my meeting is, to me, a case in point. I hope you find this review helpful. I feel this chair is worth it, well designed, and definitely good for my health overall. It does not substitute taking breaks and stretches, but it's, in my opinion, an excellent solution for an increasingly sitting culture we live in. I am considering getting one for my son and replacing his conventional chair, which he uses an awful lot for his own online life.
