Fun simple quick build with lots of stickers
A really solid kit that starts out decently color accurate, though not great, with stickers enough that are easy to put on. It transforms into all three forms the Star Winning has in the show, but the joints don't take well to the transformation so you'll euler want to reinforce them or pick which form you will want to display it in before final assembly. This one was the second time I built it, the first was a straight build as like my second kit, this time I did panel lining and next time I'll be fully painting it. It's a lot of fun and although simple I highly recommend it.

The star SD
Great model that came in at a decent time with expedited shipping. My only problem with this model while building is if you don't push the SD models mask into the head plate as far as it can go it won't pop into the back head plate (I literally had to push the mask less than a centimeter and then it was perfect) the stickers are numerous on this model which is a pain but they look really nice. It was also my first SD but to fit in with my other models I immediately put him into real form

Ambitious, but lacking
This is a good SD Gundam. It's properly proportioned, has decent enough articulation, includes a transforming gimmick, and has just enough color separation to justify the price. This isn't a good HG Gundam however. For those unaware, the Star Winning Gundam sports the ability to turn from an SD to an HG Gundam through part swapping with the backpack. While a neat gimmick, it quickly loses its appeal due to budget constraints. Articulation is hindered due to the unmovable skirt armor, and pieces will fall off due to poor connections. Meanwhile, all of the shiny green jewel like details are accomplished through stickers, in fact the only green parts given are the effects on the backpack. Overall, this was an ambitious idea, but it failed due to the limited budget of an SD rather than an HG.

One of the best SD's out there.
The Star Winning is an SD that can turn into a plane and the real mode or high grade. There are some good and bad things about this kit.The good things about the kit is its cheap and has 3 forms. The bad things about this kit is when in real mode, its articulation is pretty bad but at least it looks cool. Also,There are the side skirts of the real mode that can turn into shurikens that is also cool. For the plane mode,it looks great but most people don't like it. I gave it a 5 star because well,I just like the SDBF Star winning Gundam.Overall, the Star Winning is a great kit.

It is ok
The kit isn't very great, the joints are weak and falls apart pretty easy.

Fan Favorite
When I saw what the special move of the Star Winning Gundam in Build Fighters. It blew my mind. I just had to get this kit! I couldn't wait to build it too. I wanted to see how it transforms. My 1st SD Gundam also. It's really fun to look at. I have a straight build for now and happy with it the green stickers are sparkly and awesome, but in the future, I might paint it.

This lil guy is cool!
Just recently finished building him and I have to say, for such a small box this kit packs a lot of punch. Bandai has definitely gotten better with their sticker manufacturing, because these actually stay on. After a bit of paneling this kit looks amazing. The clear parts also look really cool under blacklight. Though not as articulate as other kits in the BF series, it makes up for it with its unique transformations. I'd recommend this kit.
