Manufacture defect?
This was not easy to install because the post is too short for the nut to go on after attaching to the brake arm. I don't know if this is a manufacturer defect or just made for some other type of bee brake system? I do want to refund. You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures

Directional pads make a perfect fit.
Love the directional pads, great breaking power as well as easy installation. Would like available larger count as I go through these very quickly. ( I repair neighbors bikes)

Value pack but very cheap feeling
If you need cheap brakes these work decently well, but the spacers on them are just thrown on I have had to rearrange them on each pad to fit my bikes, they feel kinda cheap and smell weird but my bike does stop

They don't last! Super Soft Brakes!
The brakes wear way too fast. I've bought brakes like these before and they typically last me one to two weeks per pair which is around 300 miles and that's great for the price but these ones only last one to two days or about 50-80 miles. Now don't get me wrong these are cheap brakes, and I ride and Ebike so i go a bit faster at 20-30 miles per hour, but there are other brakes for the same exact price that last longer....The other issue and what i believe is the reason for them wearing out so quickly is how soft the material is. Usually when I press the brake leavers at first it's soft and then halfway through the brakes touch the rim and the leaver feels harder to press, but with these brakes they are so soft i can just squeeze the brake pads in, there is very little pressure. It's hard to explain it perfectly but all you need to know is that the brakes are soft and they don't last. This is fine for a kid's bike if he just rides it around the park or something but if you commute on your bike or use it for work or if you have an ebike.....these brakes won't cut it.

Pretty decent value
These brake pads are ok. They don't squeal which was almost important to me as their actual stopping ability. The OEM brakes on my bike, specifically in the front, squealed so loudly it was becoming embarrassing so I'm glad to have resolved that issue. As for their performance, I think they're just ok. I admittedly don't have a lot of basis for comparison but my impression of these pads is that they would perform better if the rubber was a bit more supple. As it is, the rubber of the brake pad surface is hard almost to the point of having the tactile characteristics of plastic. Perhaps this makes them last longer? Or perhaps, more likely, a function of their lower quality. In any event, they work fine but if I'm being honest, my braking distance is no better and based on feel alone, probably a little worse than with the OEM brake pads. With all that said, I'm happy with this purchase as I don't need high performance equipment and these provided a decent solution at the right price point for me

BELL WASHERS = PROPER MOUNTING ANGLE = GREAT BRAKES
Part of my OLD Schwinn World 10 speed restoration included new break pads. This oldie bike used the old "horseshoe" type calipers and due to the caliper angle vs rim angle, I needed the ability to adjust the camber of the pads to match the brake contact area of the rim. Although the final adjustment of the pad did not quite make for a 100% contact to the rim, it did provide an almost perfect brake to rim contact to make for a sure and steady stop. By using the thinner washer between the caliper and break pad, I obtained a very good final assembly....IMPORTANT: Since my restoration included all new brake and derailleur cables, I made CERTAIN to FIRST install these pads as the final "released brake position" to the available brake cable where the brake wire is secured by the compression nut needed to be a bit longer - more wide open space when the brakes are released. Best advise is to mount parts first, then change any cables....
