LOVE these shoes! And I’m not an easy fit. I usually have to slowly break in sneakers but these felt great from the moment I put them on and spent 12 hours in them. Great support. Room for my toes yet still a snug fit across my arch and at the heel. GREAT job on these New Balance!

I love love love these shoes. I have very wide feet, and though next time I order I may be going with the extra wide option, the 8 wide is a near-perfect fit. They are so versatile- I style them with workout clothes, to jeans, to slightly more formal outfits and they are the perfect fashion statement for any look I create. I spend all day on my feet so I needed something with maximum comfort and support and these absolutely fit the bill. The perfect all-in-one shoe!! Wear them at the gym, on a night out, a walk, shopping, running errands, church, anywhere! I’m not left with that feeling at the end of the day (that I normally am) where I just HAVE to get my aching feet out of my shoes. Aside from those top favorite features and uses, here are some more honorable mentions: -highly wipeable -affordable for new balance -breathable -not too heavy, not too light -high quality -very structured and strong materials, not foamy/meshy -long, thick laces -perfect shoe for any age!

Who would have thought that Amazon would sell exactly what I needed and was looking for? I recently purchased these “New Balance Women's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer” for starting to walk again after foot surgery. I was very delighted that Amazon had the New Balance sneakers in a wide width. Since I spend all day on my feet, I am prone to foot discomfort, I needed a shoe with maximum relief and support and these absolutely fit the bill perfectly. I am not left with my usual end-of-day feeling where I desperately need to take off my aching shoes. They truly are the perfect all-in-one shoe for the gym, nights out, walks and errands. I have found that this cross trainer provides the exact strength and stability I need. These cross-trainers offer outstanding perfection, high quality and excellent arch support. The fit is true to size and they feel like they are tailored for my feet. Thank you for offering these New Balance cross trainers in a wide width and at such a great value. They are incredibly versatile and make the perfect picture-perfect fashion statement for any look from work-out clothes, jeans to slightly more formal outfits. I purchased the New Balance 608 V5 while it was on sale, mainly for weightlifting. These shoes aren't the cutest, but they perform well where it matters most for strength training. The sole is firm and very stable, keeping my feet flat and securely planted on the floor during barbell squats. Unlike cushioned walking or running shoes that compress under weight, these provide a solid, stable base that makes me feel more secure when lifting. Because of that firm construction, don't expect a soft or plush feel. The cushioning is noticeably less than what you'd find in walking or running shoes. The comfort is okay, but that's because the shoe prioritizes stability over softness. The arch support is also fairly minimal. I personally wouldn't recommend these for running since the shoes are quite rigid. If most of your workouts involve walking, jogging, or other cardio, there are more comfortable options available. However, if your main focus is weightlifting or strength training and you want a stable platform for exercises like squats, these work very well. If I could give these shoes 10 stars, I would. I have ordered 5 pairs since March 2022. They have been a Godsend for me. I am 75 and have 5 degenerated vertebral discs, arthritis in my hip and knee, and slight scoliosis. I worked all my life in service and retail as an entrepreneur and a hairdresser….hours and hours of standing on concrete floors, day after day. It was very hard on my body. It’s not so much my feet that hurt, but my back and hips. I also have pronation inward on both feet. A soft, gel cushioned sole is great for comfortable feet, but does not give the stability I need for my back and hips. I need a harder sole, that does not allow me to rock back and forth. I also need a sturdy upper with lots of cross stitching to keep my foot in place. These New Balance cross trainers fit the bill. I spend all day in these. Even going barefoot hurts my back and hips, and sandals and casual shoes just don’t give me the support I need. They have great traction and keep me steady. I never have to “break them in”. They are comfortable from the first time I put them on. I’m hard on shoes, and I’m a hard fit. One of my feet is slightly longer than the other. This leaves most shoes causing pressure and discomfort on my big toe. Not with these. They have plenty of toe room. They are sharp looking and easy to put on. I love that I can wash them in the washing machine! If you’ve never done that, you’re missing out. It keeps them looking new, and when done right, they maintain their fit beautifully. Cold water, regular wash cycle, regular detergent. Treat any dirty areas with spray spot treatment, take out the insoles(throw those in the washer too). Tie the shoes, and submerge in the water on their sides. When finished, untie them and stuff the insides of the shoe with paper towels or newspaper to maintain their shape. Sit them outside, or in a warm place to dry….usually dries in 24 hours. I still have every pair I’ve bought. When they get too worn to look nice, they become my yard work and work shoes for painting, maintenance, and dirty work. I’ve never had to repair or re glue any of them. I highly recommended these shoes. They look smart and are extremely well made.

Fit is good! Sneakers arrived brand new- fit was very good. I was going to the New Balance outlet but by the time I got there and had to run back to return- I’d be driving back and forth all day!! Can’t beat Amazon Shopping and Whole Foods returns!!

I do really like these shoes. I wanted a 7.5 but they sent an 8. I should have sent them back to exchange because they did stretch now they are too big. When I can wear heavy socks it will be good. Made very well and the support is good

Love these trainers! I ordered wide and they fit perfect. The only downside to ordering the wide with these trainers is they do look wide.. Comfy, but wouldn't order in the wide fitting, I'd prefer the toe crushing fit in the hope I could widen them myself and the shoe maintains the look of being a narrow fit. !! Lol. Fast delivery.
