This pasta is delicious and taste fresh from the box way better ingredients than most pastas that feel slimy and slippery. This actually taste like pasta that I will remember as a kid they’re drying process is part of the biggest reason why it taste so good and the texture is perfect. This is the only pasta I will be buying moving forward. Check the labels on the other pastas they’re mostly plastic.

deCecco make a delicious high quality pasta. This particular style cooks quickly in 10 minutes and doesn't fall apart or lose its shape. Because of the texture and shape it actually holds sauce better than other types of pasta. The original shape makes it nice for special dinners. It is also much less expensive on amaz than other online retailers.

De Cecco Orecchiette No. 91 is one of my absolute favorites, especially for soups. The small, ear-shaped pieces are perfectly designed to cradle broth and catch vegetables or bits of meat in every bite. They don’t get lost in the soup and make each spoonful feel hearty and satisfying. What really stands out is the quality. Like other De Cecco pastas, it’s made with high-quality durum wheat semolina and holds its shape beautifully. Even after simmering in soup, the orecchiette stay pleasantly al dente instead of turning mushy. The size is just right—not too big, not too small—and it adds great texture without overpowering the other ingredients. Whether it’s a simple vegetable soup, chicken broth, or a bean-based soup, this pasta elevates the whole dish.

I love this pasta! Good quality, reasonably priced. My new favorite pasta shape for just about anything! Tastes and texture what you would expect in a pasta. Cook time is about 12 minutes. Pasta holds onto sauces like a champ. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't ever had "God's Thumbnail".

However, the packaging could be improved since it isn’t resealable, requiring an extra container for storage. The portion size is generous for the price, and the quality is consistent. Overall, it’s a reliable pantry staple that works well for quick and tasty meals!

My 36 year old son turned us on to this macaroni!! I had never even heard of it. He told me where he purchased it and I decided to see if Amazon offered it and VOILA there it was! He paid 5 something for one bag (his came in a bag) and I paid 8 something for 3 boxes!!! And now that I'm reviewing this cool macaroni, I think I'm going to be using it for dinner tonight! Fun shape whether you're just throwing some sauce and meatballs on it or great for soups as well!
