Way better than the oem.

I was sceptical, but I really wish I had bought these much sooner!I have had a set of Infinity 5.25 coaxial speakers installed in my TJ for about 2 years now and love them. But they did not put out as much sound as I was hoping for. Even seeing 45 watts RMS each from a small amp. The rear speakers really overpowered them even with a little front fade.But no more! Now the fronts are much louder, and the mid bass is much better! Its like I doubled the power going to them! With the same +2 fade to the front setting the dash speakers are actually there! You can hear them clear, and they sound so much better now.I am going to replace the speakers with some components and move to a larger amp with 4 times the power here in a few months. These speakers are going in the rear sound bar location, and that should really bring the front stage to life!Then it will just need a subwoofer to round out the sound.

Ease and fit great

I had the stereo playing during installation, and as I pressed the speakers fully into the enclosure (before screwing them in), there was a huge difference in bass response. So I know they do make a difference.CON: These are pricey for what they are, but it seems they are the only company producing pods for the TJ.

These project the sound so much better than just having the speakers in the open dash. I had adapter plates with 5.25" already, but when I put those speakers in these pods the speakers really came to life. These are a great upgrade.I did pull some of the poly fill out of each pod as it took some effort to push the speakers all the way flush to screw them in.

Install Easy as 1,2,3... Didn’t need instructions myself but found all items to be user friendly. No cutting or alterations of any kind required. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Big upgrade over the factory junk! Fit perfect in my 2004 jeep tj
