Viking Valhalla 100 Series with Irish Linen Wrap 2 Piece 58” Pool Cue Stick

I purchased a Viking Vahalla 120 cue in the 19-oz version in July 2026. It arrived in good shape – no damage. I weighed it at 19.2 oz. Roll tests for straightness were done flat on a pool table and on the pool table edge: I could not see any tip wobble. The tip measured 13.309mm and was shaped and the ferrule measured 1.24-in long. Overall length assembled measured 58-5/8 – inches from the tip to the end of butt. I was a little concerned about the tip. One review mentioned that the tip did not hold chalk and had to be chalked after every shot. That has not been a problem for me. The tip holds chalk very well. Overall the Valhalla plays much better than the house cue I had been using. I have been playing pool two times a week for the past five years at a community center.

This is a excellent pool cue, especially for the price. Its dead straight, nice tip, workmanship is excellent no flaws in the finish and linen wrap is perfect. Most importantly it plays great. Its comparable to much more expensive cues. In fact I bought a second one for guest to use. Excellent cue you wont be disappointed.

This is a great cue for beginners and people who don't want a flashy cue for playing in bar tournaments. Shoots like a much more expensive cue at a great price. The color is great as well. If you are just starting out in the game or need a dependable back up this is a great choice.

This is a great pool cue, glad that I made the decision to purchase this for my first cue. I have played for a couple years, but finally made the decision to buy a stick! And it was a good choice, smooth shaft, weight (I purchased 21oz) feels great and on point. I received it nicely packaged, was not warped and hasn't over the past few months. The linen wrap is still in tact and feels amazing. The reason I gave 4 stars is that my tip started to mushroom over the past few weeks, and now I have to get it replaced. That doesn't take away from the cue itself, and doesn't even make hitting any less accurate, just a pain that I have to get it replaced after only a few months. Overall I would recommend the Valhalla Cue as a great "first buy" stick.

A flat tip will ruin your accuracy, so buy a Cuetec Bowtie tool and learn to shape it right away. ​ Upgrade the accessories: Regular hand chalk is banned in many halls, so try Silky Hands spray. The cue performes well but the paint unfortunately started to come off after only a couple of times of use. It is being returned to seller for a refund, but not yet settled.

Arrived with damages & not manufactured well

This was rated the best in its price range in multiple reviews I found online, they say it punches well above its class and I can see why. Beautiful finish and great performance. Highly recommended.
