Turtle Wax 50935 Heavy Duty Scratch Repair & Paintwork Renew Platelet Technology (207ml)

Within the first week of owning my new Mini Countryman, a caravan misjudged the width on their side of the road and the side scraped against my wing mirror, leaving a horrible large scuff on the black paint of it. I was worried I was going to have to have it painted or replaced, so I decided to give this stuff a try first, and I'm glad I did. I used a felt applicator pad to apply a small dab onto the area and started buffing it out, it applied smoothly and easily and I could tell the product was quickly doing its job. A slightly more generous second application finished removing all the remaining scuffs to the paint. There was some residue left over and a bit of spidering/micro-hazing initially, but a wash of the car after removed it leaving a dark black, unblemished and shiny wing mirror. This was a few months ago, and since then the scuff has not reappeared at all, and no weird markings have appeared since, so whatever the paintwork sealant is built into it has done its job and left a durable finish. This was much cheaper than going to a professional and left a perfect finish. It won't work in all cases, such as if a deep scratch has reached the undercoat, but for light scratches to the top coating layers I would definitely use this Turtle Wax again

Had a car go down the side of the wife’s car causing black scuffs all the way down, used this with a kit that attached to my drill, worked wonders cannot see any marks now, really good stuff but will not get deep scratches out.

Blown away! Ok if you follow the instructions and have a little patience, 1-2 mins per scratch this product makes the majority of light scratches disappear. I even had one scratch that my nail would catch and it took away 90% of it. A few bigger marks with paint - gone! Interesting to see after a wash if they return but you have to look hard for them.

Not very good, only for very minor scratches

Great value for money, the Scratch Remover worked far better than I expected, I guess any scratch remover has its limitations but for superficial / light marks this product in my opinion will be money very well spent.

This is a kind of white bathroom cleaning product which reminded me CIF. I wish I could get my money back as it served no purpose whatsoever. This is my first negative feedback in last two years and I buy a lot. However Amazon's delivery was as always very reliable.

Bought this to treat a few scratches on my car. It was easy to use and apply and after first application all of the really light scratches were invisible to anything but really close inspection and even harder to find after a second application. Deeper scratches and chips remained visible after 5 or 6 applications but had definitely begun to fade. However when running a finger over them, they were less obvious to the touch and many felt flush to the original paintwork so at least there is confidence that there is some protection there even if the aesthetic result wasn’t what I wanted.
