Lightweight and super easy to use!
I love to do yardwork including mowing the lawn! My husband usually does the trimming but sometimes he gets super busy and doesn’t get around to it! The trimmer we have isn’t the most reliable and I don’t like using it because it styles on me. I wanted to get a trimmer that I could just use myself. I wanted one that that was light-weight and super easy to use. This one is perfect For me and exactly what I was looking for! You basically Just charge the battery and plug it in...Then just Push the button and pull the trigger. Serious Couldn't be easier to use. I love this machine!!! I need to trim along my yard edgers, and the included guide made that so easy. I Have never used a weed eater that was this easy to use and does a great job. Of course, it has a small battery with a pretty short life, but it works for my needs. If you are looking for a lightweight and easy to use trimmer, this is definitely the right one for you!

short battery life
We just started using the Power Smart Trimmer today. After two weeks of heavy rains, it is being used by my house mate to weed my yard. It was easy to mount, very light weight and exceptionally easy to use and maneuver, but the only frustrating part is that the battery life is incredibly short. It only gives 30 minutes of power at a time, so he has to keep charging the battery to continue working as I have a fairly large yard. Although the battery charges in less than an hour. I think the best thing might be to get a second battery as a back up. Also the handle is quite short, so if you are tall, using it might hurt your back. My house mate is short so it works perfect for his height. Otherwise, it does a great job, and is far better than using a cutlass, and getting blisters in your palms. Ill get a second battery and update if necessary.

Great weed eater until bad electrical design blows motor ... DON'T BUY IT
So we got this weed eater and we loved this weed eater. It's light, the battery lasts like a champ, all the good things! Right? Except about 1.5 months in, it stops working. Had an electrician check the battery, battery tests fine. Had him check the charger, charger's doing its job just fine. Well hell ... so I asked him to take it apart and see if a wire had come loose. The wires are all intact but the motor was blown. The motor was blown because it's an 18V motor powered by a 20V battery, thereby overtaxed and destined to fail. Clearly I can't send it back because we took it apart — I get that. But folks should know, with the current design this machine is destined to fail. Until it does, though, it'll be great. (Can you hear me rolling my eyes?)

I got this tool for a great price about three years ago, but, the charger is acting up
I bought this String Trimmer in October of 2020. It was on sale with a $10 coupon, so it was really a great deal. Up until the end of last Summer, 2 years later, it was working fine for me. It has more than enough power to do my yard and it charges up quickly, and it is easy to replace the .065 string. Then, this season, I noticed the battery went dead very quickly after the first use. The battery charger was no longer charging. It was stuck on the green light (meaning it was supposed to be charged.) I went to look for a new charger, and Amazon (and even the MFG) was sold out, but even if they HAD them, it would cost nearly as much as I originally paid for the whole tool set. While I had it unplugged, looking for the part number, I noticed it started working again when I plugged it back in. The red light came on (meaning it is charging.) I'm just unplugging the charger before doing the lawn, now, and plugging it in before inserting the battery. So, heads up for anyone else that is having trouble with the charger.Overall, this is a very good trimmer, but I have to take off two stars for the battery snafu. And, based on the lack of availability of a replacement charger, it seems like maybe the MFG is aware. They never responded to my email when I informed them of my finding, but at least I told them.

Thank you!!!
I have no idea why some of the comments are on here. The battery has a button to remove it, you have to push that in to get the battery to slide back and come off. I love this little trimmer!!! I am a disabled momma who still wants to work in the yard. This is lightweight enough for me to handle. I can't lift more than a few pounds. I LOVE the continuous feed and I am absolutely satisfied with how long the battery lasts. When the battery goes down, it's usually time for me to take a break anyway. It keeps me from pushing myself too far! It's not meant for heavy-duty so, those complaining about that...you bought the wrong kind of trimmer, not the trimmer's fault.

Great purchase for the lady of the house
Wow! The reviews on this thing are hit or miss but I decided to try my luck at this $45 edger. As a pregnant woman and mom of 3 already, yard work is my least favorite thing. I had been using a huge, heavy gas powered weed whacker but it became a total pain in the a$$. This battery powered one came today. It took about 45 minutes for the battery to charge and maybe 10 minutes to assemble. I live on just under a half acre and I was able to edge my driveway, walkway, fire pit and swing set. I also did at least 15-20 minutes of general trimming. The battery was still going when I was done. The edger is amazing! So easy to use! And honestly, I was surprised that the one little string cut down so much stuff. This was definitely a great purchase!

Lasted for one season
After using it last year it stopped working this spring. I figured the battery would be the first to go but instead just stops while using it.

First time lawn owner
I never mowed grass in my life but when I bought this it came natural. The edging feature is class and makes our grass the best on the street. Keeps a charge for about 3-5 hours (3-5 mowing sessions). Light and easy to change the string.

exelente funcionamiento
lo malo es que la pila dura muy poco y se descarga muy pronto necesitas tener al menos 2 baterias

Good except...
Runs well. Built solidly. Cannot buy parts in Canada.
