a great little oven at a great little price
what a great little oven - I've bought it to use in my campervan but have tested it at home and it cooked a jacket potatoe, cauliflower cheese and a mozarella pasta dish beautifully. Can't wait to use it on my travels.

Brilliant addition to campervan
EDIT/ UPDATE: still working well after 3 years of use 2/3 times a week. Original review: This tiny little Oven has exceeded my expectations. I purchased it for my campervan but am now using it at home too. Firstly, it is small but if you’ve done your research you’ll know that. I decided on this model over the other recommended ovens because it was advertised as having lower exterior surface temperatures. This is important to me as it will be used in an enclosed space in the campervan. It does recommend that you have 4” of ventilation on every side. I have measured the outside surface temperatures over a 200 degree, 40 min cook. The top reached 55 degrees and the sides 45 degrees. The back is relatively cool at 30 degrees. Really impressed with this. The knobs, door handle stay cold. The performance is impressive. It can be used as a grill if you leave the door open and easily toasts bread/crumpets in minutes. The oven, although small is impressive. I manage to cook chops, roast potatoes and cauliflower/ broccoli cheese on one tray (see photo). Things don’t take much longer than my larger conventional oven in the house, maybe a couple of minutes. It bakes cupcakes well too. I can’t find fault with this unit except the lack of interior light. It’s a solid 5 stars for me and have already recommended to friends. Extremely happy

Small but
Small, inexpensive, and works as promised. No bells or special stuff just a temperature setting and timer. Make sure to clean and bake empty for 30 minutes first as it has a bad smell when first used.

Small
It's really small but I have kept it because it can come in handy for heating pies, pasties, quiche etc I got it to heat pizzas but unfortunately they would not fit

Smoke everywhere. Dangerous
This is the worst and most dangerous item I have ever ever bought on amazon. I bought this to heat ready meals up for my elderly mother as we were having a new kitchen fitted and was without an oven. On heating the oven started smoking. Im talking billowing smoke. Nearly choked on fumes. I took the meal out the bottom fell out of ready meal . The oven had burnt right through the bottom of container and the plastic was burnt on to the grill. Absolute hazard . Do not buy .

Still going strong after 18 months
This is an essential item for anyone in their 20s cooking food for one on a regular basis. I probably use it 3 or 4 times a week. It's wonderfully simple. It's the perfect size to heat a supermarket quiche, OR some of the components of a larger meal for one e.g. 3 or 4 sausages, hash browns or fish fingers, OR to reheat part of a larger meal cooked days earlier in a normal oven. Some Sundays, I make a puff pastry tart in my normal oven, cut it into 4 slices, put the 3 unconsumed slices in separate takeaway boxes in the fridge, and then reheat a slice a day in this appliance for 10 mins. Because it is basic oven technology with two heating elements, rather than microwave, the puff pastry reheats with the crispiness of the pastry maintained! Unlike a microwave which makes reheated pastry soggy. All this said, I would never attempt to fit a cake tin into this appliance (not least because even if it fit, I am not confident the temp is consistent enough for baking -- you really need to bake using a fan oven that evenly and consistently distributes the heat around the oven interior). I've done the maths and it uses approx one third of the energy of a normal oven assuming you would've heated the thing for the same amount of time in either appliance. That saves energy so is good for the planet and your wallet. I've never paid attention to the temperature dial, always left it on the maximum temp (whatever that is, perhaps 230 celsius although I doubt it truly reaches that temp). You will see, the heating element switches on for a bit, off for a bit, on for a bit, off for a bit -- it's not faulty, this is how it's supposed to behave, don't be alarmed. Also a word of warning -- there is a nasty slightly smoky factory smell the first time you use it. This smell is gone after 3 or 4 uses though, it was a distant memory after a few months of usage. Here I am 18 months later and it looks almost as good as day one. Top tip: I am not confident it would ever be possible to clean the heating elements since they are surrounded by perforated metal shields. As such, I never put something like a pizza slice (which could drip melting cheese onto the lower heating element) onto the oven rack insert. Instead, I always put potentially drippy food items onto the solid baking tray insert. This is common sense really! I also think the simple, understated design deserves some recognition. Good job on creating this highly useful addition to any kitchen! One of the easiest 5 star ratings I have ever given.

Good for small size SMD reflow work, excellent value
I bought this to use as a PCB SMD reflow oven. Whilst the temperature dial only goes to 230C it gets to 270C+ out of the box which means I do not have to invalidate my warranty to reach the desired temperature. 10 minutes of adjusting with a K-type temperature probe and it is set to the ideal temperature and is stable at 230C. Turn it on, set a timer for 4 1/2 minutes then turn it off and your PCB is done. If you wish to invalidate your warranty to get more control/precision then it looks easy enough to replace the controls with your own, at your own risk of course. Quartz heating elements, which is nice. Very small and so does not take too much benchspace, has a good metal door with glass built in (better than just a bit of glass). Does get too hot to touch on the outside when running so give it some room away from sensitive equipment or things that may melt. If you want a small toaster oven for SMD work for smaller PCBs up to about 15cm square then this is a very good one to go for (internal dimensions are 250mm wide x 210mm deep). I bought it for £37.32 so it was awesome value. I imagine that the high temperature it achieves would also make a very nice Pizza, but it would not be a big one :)
