I have never used tanning water until ordering this product and am for the most part happy with it.For reference, I have incredibly fair, neutral to cool-toned skin that will only develop a visible tan if I’ve been burnt badly.*My only con* is I have to wait a day in between applications because it starts to look orange. If you develop a tan faster or have yellow/olive undertones, the color should be fine.The spray is more of a stream than a mist, so keep that in mind. Application works fine with a good quality hand and back mitt.There is a slight classic tanner smell, but that comes with the territory - the smell is not as overwhelming as other products.

I’m Greek so I have an olive complexion as is. When I get out of the shower I normally spray this on in the morning not to look white to me, I’m not a morning person. Especially since I retired. No more 3:30am, now noon is just fine… I have really never noticed a difference with this one but I normally use med or med to dark. I’m not even sure what color this one is.

Worked quickly. I’m very pale and can’t tan, I only burn. I put mine in a continuous mist spray bottle and worked well. I did miss a few spots but that’s just trial and error. Works awesome on my face. I only needed one application to notice a difference. Make sure you exfoliate and dry off really well before you use it and I think that will take care of the patchiness others have experienced. 1st picture is before, 2nd picture is after. My main purpose in buying this was to supplement the tanning to my face and my hands, as those can be kind of tricky to tan at times. I would suggest that you wrap your hair to avoid your hair turning orange. And don’t forget to wipe off your eyebrows after spraying your face. The other thing that I would suggest is using a dry brush to spread out the tanning water evenly. See the Kabuki Tanner brush. This stuff feels like water but it is truly tanning water. And watch out for skin tags or moles as they will also turn darker. Wash those off with plain water. I have found out that you can use this tanning water on other areas of your body like your arms and chest and legs. It works great!!

Easy to use but very deceiving. I put on some before bed and I woke up orange like an oompa loompa from Charlie and the chocolate factory. I mistakenly rubbed the spray in with my hands and they were orange by the morning. Also weird spots show up like on my arm if not rubbed in correctly.

I use this product in a continuous spray bottle instead of the original bottle it comes in, so I can’t attest to how well the bottle works, but the spray itself dries fairly quickly (I usually rub it in and then wash my hands and stand in front of my air purifier or use my hair dryer on cool to speed up the process.) I typically use this after a shower and a few hours before bed so it can set without worry of getting wet or sweating off. The color develops over several hours and is very noticeable. It is a very even and natural looking tan when used correctly. Hope this helps!

I bought this and the bottle came a different color even though the picture shows it green...which doesn't make sense but oh well. It is a gradual tan which I don't necessarily like so I may not buy this again after I run out. But give it a shot if you're okay with waiting for a slight tan in 3 days.

Horrible stuff, stinks and stains badly I did a few squirts before bed and I have woken up orange and darker in some places. I also bought it because it said acne prone and I have woken up with twice as many spots as before. :-(

I just put this on… so we’ll see in the morning. I don’t know why people complain about the scent?the smell (to me) was very light and then disappeared altogether in minutes. Hopefully I will wake up a shade darker! UPDATE! Love this. It looks sooo natural. Blends perfectly, in a the right spots. Exactly where the sun would naturally hit you. A teeny tiny bit sticky this morning. But nothing a shower won’t fix.

I was searching for a vegan/cruelty free and inexpensive fake tan for awhile. So I bought this over a year ago, I haven’t used it much as it was winter here and I am very pale. I do use it from time to time, and a lottttt in the summer and warm months, and it has lasted me this long. It gives you a VERY healthy glow the next day, especially if you exfoliate your face and “contour” with a makeup brush & spray your neck/chest. I’m very pale right now and have been doing this and it looks natural and healthy, not orangey at all. Highly recommend!!

I have to qualify my results by stating that I have natural olive tones to my complexion. I tan easily and deeply in the summer but in the winter although perhaps not considered pale in comparison to people without the Mediterranean skin, I do think I look a bit sallow. I chose this self tanner because it's liquid and I wanted to avoid using heavy creams.I did notice a difference after a few applications. The directions suggest applying twice daily. I did and noticed a difference after a couple days. As I only apply to my face, I cut back application to once a day every other day to maintain the desired tone. I just wanted a healthier colour, not to look obvious. I think there's a danger of this with over application.I spray onto a makeup brush and go over my forehead, down my nose, chin, cheek bones then brush my whole face. I gives me a natural enough look. But again, I don't know what it looks like on fairer skin.
