Wifey is allergic to Pollen and hoping that this will help tremendously. The Filter holder has a ridge that fits in the filter folds to help hold it down properly. I didn't have the tools to modify the holder - so I modified that the filter and made a slit when the holder slot/ridge would sit correctly. Making a slit on one side seemed to be enough. This filter was much better quality - it was thicker on the sides and seemed to hold it's shape better. The filter materials seems to be much thicker than the plain paper one. Hoping this will trap all the allergens/pollen for the wife. Also to note - the old filter wasn't sitting quite as tight as it should and you could see on the edges where there was a gap. Live and learn.

For 57 years I've worked on all my cars but let's face it. Modern cars are not easy on a Shadetree mechanic. I've got a 2016 Prius and with all the high-tech hybrid electrical stuff on it, my wrenches stay in the tool chest. The only things I change regularly are the car motor air filter and the cabin air filter because replacement is so easy. I had the stock Toyota cabin air filter (expensive) and bought some knock off "carbon filter" ones on Amazon that absolutely stunk. This Fram cabin air is by the far the best. It's reasonably priced and works well. Being imbued with baking soda helps, I guess. Well, it doesn't hurt, and the cabin air does smell good all of the time. I strongly recommend this cabin air filter. Do it yourself and save a few bucks with this good quality filter.

I installed this cabin air filter on my 2025 Toyota Corolla. The fit was correct and installation was straightforward. It took less than five minutes and required no tools. This filter appears to be of good quality, therefore 5 stars, but it does not fit "2022 Mazda CX-9". It is too short. See picture with new filter on top and old on bottom.

Fits my 2024 Toyota Crown XLE perfectly. Only flaw, direction flow installation needs better explanation, had to google it to install the correct orientation, direction flow pointing down as opposed to the bracket stating up, its confusing. still better than paying what the Toyota dealer charges, shame on you Toyota :(

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been using FRAM filters (engine air, oil, cabin air) since 2015 on all my family's cars (4-5 cars) and have never had a problems. BUT, not this time. The filter part number is correct. I have been buying it since 2020. But this time this filter doesn't fit for my Prius 2017 (regular) due the incorrect filter size. - The filter width is smaller than it should be. Because of this, the filter doesn't fit into the filter slot. -Also, it looks like the air flow mark is pointing in the wrong direction. The flow arrow should be pointing towards the activated carbon side of the filter. In other words, the air flow should first pass through the dirty air filter layer (the lighter side of the filter), then the cleaned air from large debris should pass through the next activated carbon filter layer (the dark side of the filter), and not the other way, as on this filter. I'll try to buy it in the store again, like before.

An easy 10 minute self-install for my cabin air filter that saved me from a $75 dealer installation. The FRAM filter fit right into the RAV 4 Hybrid's filter frame and it was good to go. I pull out my cabin air filter every 6 months and tap the element a few times to shake out most of what collects there and then put it back in to get another 6 months out of it. I do replace them annually and it keeps the air in the cabin fresh and clean. FRAM has always been my first choice for filters for all my vehicles.

Perfect fit for 2023 RAV4

Immediately noticed the smell difference after installing a new one. Better air.

Filter had to adjusted to fit in the Toyota Rav 4 Cabin Air Filter basket. There is a guide in the basket that is wider than the filter.. Also the Filter does not have a flow direction arrow. I installed the darker Filter side down in the Filter basket. Still, a cheaper Filter and install, than the dealer price.

Not for a 2023 Lexus IS350 even though it states it fits the car. There is a good 1" gap on the side which defeats the purpose of the filter.
