Love this 'organic' milk thistle supplement; it's easy to take -- and you only need one a day. I alternate this with another liver/gallbladder support vitamin from Dr. Christopher. Of course medical doctors say that this doesn't work or matter in the scheme of their 'medical world,' however, I've taken it for a while, and I believe it has been a plus to increasing my liver enzymes to health levels. Mix what you believe with the power of natural herbs (versus man-made synthetics) - and it's worth a try. Easy-to-swallow capsule fits the bill!

This is a good product, but when it says "60 count", there is supposed to be sixty capsules in the bottle and not less. I certainly do hope they have not been opened and returned, re-sealed and sold again!

I've tried some different milk thistle brands but have to say, this one works the best. Maybe because it's the whole plant? I'm not sure but all I know is that my elevated liver count went down after taking this so I won't switch products again.

This has been a daily, without fail supplement for me for about five years, beginning with elevated liver enzyme levels and then diagnosis of autoimmune hepatitis. Every doctor I've seen during this time has recommended milk thistle for the liver. I have personally experienced the difference it makes in liver function simply from the way I feel when I have not taken it, even though no one can explain why or how it works the way it does. However, over the time I've taken Genceutic brand, the price has escalated wildly, starting at around $7 for 60, and now almost triple that amount for the same bottle. Realizing it is organic, etc., price gouging is my opinion of what's happening with the brand. Then adding insult to injury with the impossible-to-open lid has caused me to commence a serious search for another brand, even though the product I believe is one of the best available. My belief is that the bottle/lid design is faulty rather than by design. The content is certainly secure as I have actually had to cut into the bottle with a large knife to get into it. No one needs that kind of frustration or security. Therefore, NO FIVE STARS.

I Love this Product a lot, I just ordered another 3 more Bottles BUT the new bottles that just came All three I can NOT get the tops off, No Matter what I try and do, Hope this gets fixed right away. Or I can not buy anymore since I can't them until I can get the tops off. Maybe a saw will work.. LOL Company is good, Product is Great so Can't give it a low grade but really wish they would fix the bottle.

It is an organic product that is what I am looking for.

Be very careful taking this product. I broke out in hives all over my body after two days of using this. I stopped taking immediately of course and the hives cleared up in about five days. I looked it up and that is one of the side effects. Works for most people, but not for me.
