Where Was Patrick Henry on the 29th of May?

We have read several Jean Fritz books in our home school. I was a bit surprised to find the exclamation "Damn!" In it along with the line "having their brains/head blown up". Just FYI if your child is young or sensitive to this material.

My nine year old daughter and son are both obsessed with history. This series became a favorite after an aunt bought them one. Please carry the entire series!!!

A great read for our elementary aged son who was learning about American history. He has become a lover of all of Jean Fritz's books and has a full collection of them now. If you are looking for book that put your child into America's history Jean does a great job.

A wonderful book. I have still have mine from when I was young. It was in great condition. My nephew loves it.

Excellent book f or kids 6'8 history has never been do fun and enlightening before

Well-written, factual history which easily draws children in to reading about our Founding Fathers.
