I got tired of my hands getting tore up on high bar workouts doing gymnastics. There not made for that but they will work if you have long fingers. They have some decent padding in the palm area. The wrist wrap helps with wrist flex doing gymnastics. The Velcro is decent very sticky perhaps too sticky after they’re worn. It starts to get fluffy. I wash them once a week and air dry. No visible tears. Had to but a second after I lost my first in the parking lot. Didnt even look at a different brand. Fit was excellent. Takes time to break in.

These gloves are terrific. They are wellmade and durable. Really give me a solid grip when I do my Farmers Walk and Kettlebell exercises. A bit snug at first.

I owned a pair of the Schiek leather gloves before, but could not find them and after searching forever decided to buy another pair because these are just the best gloves you can buy. Most workout gloves are poorly stitched and tear apart after a month or two of going to the gym 2-3x a week. These are made of 100% leather and are well padded, and thick, and have the wrap to keep them from sliding off your wrist while exercising at the gym. These will last a long time.

They are not easy to clean. But very functional in the gym. They protect the hands and support the wrists. I think they are good value for the price.

Too thick to grab & hold thicker dumbbells handles

As others have stated you must order down one size. I could almost see going down two sizes if you are in between sizes. My hand is very thick and I find some XL's are perfect others are a bit tight, Large in these is great but if they stretch out in time may got a little loose. They are leather though so get them wet and they will shrink back down when they dry. Don't get me wrong they fit great and I love them I am just trying to advise as best as possible. If you can find these locally I would suggest trying them on before buying them. You can also go to Schiek's website and look at their sizing chart. These are fully padded across the palm and onto the fingers. The padding isn't thick but provides plenty of cushion while still giving plenty of grip. Great long wrist strap that gives lots of support. Easiest glove to remove I have ever used, due to the fins on each finger. Seems very well built and with my daily dumbbell workout, I can see these lasting for a long time to come. Exactly what I was looking for.
