Fobus 6900NDP Evolution Mag Pouch for Glock & H&K USP 9mm & .40 Double-Stack Double Magazine Pouch

First thing I did was shove two loaded G17 magazines in this holster, turned it upside down and shook it like crazy. One of the magazines did eventually fall out but without adjustment I felt the magazines would stay put if for some reason I ended up upside down. I was able to use the holster in a tactical pistol class over the weekend. The holster managed to retain the two magazines throughout the entire class. The class involved running, shooting on the move, shooting from the ground and multiple magazine changes. Positioning. I wore the holster on my side and it managed to stay there the entire class. Even when I was on the ground and rolled around on the holster. However, If I needed to adjust the holster it was easy enough to grab it with my hand and move it to where I needed it. The holster effectively locates two spare magazines in a position where you can quickly access and draw them.. The retention on the G17 magazines was enough that they were easy to draw but stayed put. The magazine holster is made of durable plastic and has smooth and rounded edges so there are not sharp or rough surfaces to dig into your skin or for your close to get snagged on if you have clothes over the holster. This is a paddle holster so you don't run your belt through it. I typically get dressed then insert the paddle into my pants positioning my pants and my belt between the paddle and the holster. The holster will not come out of your pants. There is a small ledge on the paddle that is just enough that you have to physically reach in your pants and using two hands separate the paddle and the holster to pull it out of your pants. I have been running a Fobus pistol holster for years and was not surprised that the magazine holster was as good as the pistol holster.

Glock 9mm magazines fit perfectly. Easy on and off without having to undue belt. When on will not come off when removing a magazine.
