Is it suitable for R-410-A?

As far as I know it is suitable for any refrigerant. Just make sure you take it into a vacuum when you get it to get any moisture or impurities out. As long as you don't mix different refrigerants into the same tank you are fine.

With what gas is the cylinder filled when delivered? If it's nitrogen, I'd like to use it to pressure-test a system before using it for recovery.

Well the relief valve pressure is 600 psi so at 90 degrees 410a is at about 275 psig so I would say you would be fine. The tanks for 410a need a minimum of a 400 psi rating. Later.

can this tank be used as an add-on for an air compressor? the pressure rating exceeds the 225# of my compressor's tank.

I think it is ok if you don't exceed the max pressure capacity.
