This is great for fine motor development and encouraging language and play skills through singing, labeling and creating opportunities to ask for help since the pieces are a little small and can be challenging. Perfect addition to my LOs fruits and veggies cutting activity.

My 4 year old nephew wanted a cake for Christmas so bad and he was over the moon with this because it had extra desserts. It’s one of his favorites!

I bought this as birthday present for 3 years old, because she loves food toys and attaches the small pieces into holes, and decorate things.So I intended to buy it with this purpose and as an additionally I thought it would besing happy birthday song.But, turned out that set that sing happy birthday cost more then $20, so be sure to choose correct set from available options. However I think the seller should clarify this in description.Next disappointment was that the set looks so weak. Not sturdy at all.The fact, that you must to attach all stickers and velcro makes it impossible for little kids to do. And if sticker touch the surface there is no chance you can undo it. I ripped some of stickers in attempt to redo it.Every piece of item doesn't look real, especially cookies and sandy ice cream. And some of decorations fall out if child turns it upside down.I leave a one star because of bag that included in package and it's good for fine motor skills, but surely for that price I would prefer something better.

Although the toy is “cute” and my grandson has been enjoying playing with it, it seems to be very cheaply made. I had to put all the stickers on each piece that needed them and stick the velcro pieces on the cake pieces. A few of the stickers were rather awkward to get on thus causing either large bumps or tearing. Pieces were a lot smaller than I anticipated. Comes with three plates, one fork knife and spoon, and one cup so unless you have other play dishes those are not quite enough for playing with friends. So for the price, and I got it discount code, I feel it really wasn’t worth the cost. It will keep my grandson happy for a bit so gonna keep but not sure that I’d recommend.
