Polarized Cat Eye Clip On Sunglasses Over Prescription Glasses for Women UV Protection

They fit my glasses perfect! They are easy to clip on. And work great I like that they can flip up when you go inside. I would recommend these to anyone, especially if you have what’s called cat eyeglasses. They blocked the sun and I like the fact that they’re polarized.

I was surprised these worked so well! They fit over my glasses with plenty of room to spare & have a good, dark lense for the sun. They also do not look like “gramma glasses” because you absolutely cannot tell they are over your glasses. Overall they were a good purchase and I’m happy with them.

But they are also so flimsy. Light yes but tricky to get seated correctly. By the time I do, there are fingerprints all over the lenses and then I have to take them off to clean. We both tried them on with very different framed prescription glasses and both had the same problem. But they are clear. I’m going to try another pair but it may be the same story. These flip up clip ones used to be, back in the day, pretty tough. Why can’t they be sturdier?

Edit 9/9/2020: still love these! I have not been gentle with them but you wouldn't know it from looking at them. Also, the clip is relatively small compared to other clip-ons, it has not caused me any eye strain from my eyes "hiding" it. I have since purchased a new pair of glasses in another shape, and these look great on them, too.7/4/2019:I highly recommend these clip-ons! I bought the purple and the pink, and I bring them with me everywhere. I bought these because I have a very small face, and regular clip-ons are way too big for my glasses. (I don't know the unit, but my glasses are 45.) These fit perfectly.I am constantly getting stopped by people asking me where I got these or can they try them on, and somehow everyone is surprised that they are just clip-ons and not regular sunglasses. I have no idea how that could be mistaken because you can see the frame of my glasses through the lenses, and the clip gives me a double nose bridge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ See attached photos for what I mean.They come with a small, leather "case" (more like a sleeve) with a cleaning cloth, so they never get scratched up in my bag. They're extremely lightweight, I can see how some people would consider this poor material, but it's not an issue. They do a good job minimizing the glare.Really strongly recommend these!

I thought about getting some custom, magnetic sunglasses for my new eye glasses....but never got around to it and really needed sunglasses for my sensitive eyes. As I was looking at all the different types, I was mostly concerned about 1) would the clip go over my thick, plastic eye glasses and 2) would the clip cover the style of my eye glasses well. I already LOVED the color. When I go them I was SUPER impressed. Both of my concerns more than adequately met. The are super easy to clip on my eye glasses AND cover my lenses very well. They are well made, lightweight and very stylish! I LOVE THEM!!!

The first pair (bottom of photo) were great. Wore them a LOT. I thought I had lost them, and ordered a replacement. The replacements (top photo) do not stay on my frames when flipped up…which is the whole point of having flip up sunglasses.I ordered a replacement pair of the new ones, and they were made the same way, the rivets are so low, there is not room for the shades to flip up without becoming unclipped.

My partner and all my friends think it’s incredibly dorky that I ordered (and use) these but I have zero regrets. They’re the perfect size to fit over both pairs of my glasses, they’re lightweight so they don’t weight down the frames, and they’re a cute cat eye shape! They do make my cell phone look a little iridescent however I haven’t noticed it on any other screens. They flip up, and stay there, if I need to read something in lower light but don’t want to/can’t take my glasses off. I’ve only had them a few weeks and don’t use them every day so I can’t say how well they hold up, but I’m considering ordering a second pair in the event I loose or brake the first one. Love them!
