Fragonard Parfumeur Rose de Mai Eau de Toilette - 100 ml

It's daunting to buy a scent without trying it, but I had two things going for me - the reputation of the Fragonard name and the delicious sound of the blended notes in this formula. I was not disappointed. From the first spray, it's a very sweet a delicate rosy floral, then it blooms into a rather peppery, grassy, overpowering perfume-y scent very typical of French fragrance. Be PATIENT. It dries down within minutes to a softer, rosier, slightly powdery scent. It's quite subtle. This is NOT a teenage pop star candy fragrance. It's a very grown-up, pumps-and-pearls scent. It's the kind of scent you want if you like that sophisticated French lady vibe. (I do!)

Fabulous fragrance! It smells as if you are walking in a freshly blooming rose garden. It's a clean light rose sent. This is perfect for anyone who love the smell of roses. It works as a wonderful perfume or as a linen spray. The rose sent is a beautiful fragrance. This perfume would make a great gift for holidays, graduation, vacation, birthday or any celebration!

This was a bit too powdery and mature for my taste. I was looking more for a fresher, brighter scent. It still smells good, but wasn't what I was looking for. Fast shipping too and good quality though!

Smells cheap

I had first puchased Rose de Mai Balm for my skin and love the smell. Then I thought there must be a Rose de Mai perfume. My search was on! This Fragonard Rose de Mai eau de toilette is a beautiful perfume. It has a clean, soft Rose de Mai smell. This is what I wanted, however, I wanted it a little stronger. Then I discovered that the pump is a scew on. Wonderful! So, I will continue to purchase this high quality perfume and add Rose de Mai Absolue to it and make it the strength I would like it to be.

Crisp and clean floral with notes of rose, violet and cassis. Never cloying with good sillage.

And I have encountered many in my life. This is stunning. If you don’t like rose, don’t pass this by as it does not smell like typical rose. It is so fresh, just out of the shower fresh, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

As a nurse, this cologne has a fresh scent and not overpowering for the pts to smell!
