It appears there is a small jar of something, beside the suppositories, in the pics above of this product. Is this a small bit of the cream?

Accepted Answer

Yes! It is small travel size NeuEve balm cream (about 6 g, about 2-3 weeks supply). We added it recently to the assorted box in 2017. Since Amazon might have some Assorted formulas from last year that did not have this cream, we cannot guarantee all boxes have it at Amazon, but the likelihood is high that you will have one in your box. As product turn over is fast at Amazon, the NeuEve assorted formulas from last year could be all sold out.

I’m confused. what’s the difference between silk, silver and gold? if i need a stronger product should i be buying the gold?

Accepted Answer

The major differences are in their ingredient concentrations and timed-release formulations, which determine their strength and effective duration.  The NeuEve Silk formula is milder, suitable for highly sensitive women, but it only lasts 3-4 days. The Silver formula is moderate and the effect can last for 5-6 days. It is designed for clearing odor and eases dryness quickly and can be used for both recovery and maintenance. The NeuEve Gold formula is more concentrated in certain ingredients and with extended-release. It is designed for long-term relieving of dryness and atrophy and suitable for easy maintenance (use 1 per week) because it can last 7-8 days.
If you have had vaginal dryness and painful sex for some time and are not sure which formula is right for you, it would be safer to start first with the Silk, then move up to the Silver, and finally the Gold. The Gold formula is the most concentrated one, but women with severe atrophy is often very sensitive and cannot tolerate it at beginning. After using the milder products for several months, their tolerance improves and they can use the Silver and ultimately the Gold.

Why can't i use the Gold formula right away?

The NeuEve suppositories have 3 levels designed for women with different age and/or severities of vaginal atrophy. The Gold is the strongest formula with nutritional supplements 3x more concentrated than the Silver, which in turn is 3x more concentrated than the Silk. The Gold is the best formula and last the longest, but the trade off is that for women with severe vaginal atrophy, their vaginal lining is very thin and they can be sensitive to the Gold and feel burning. They can only tolerate the milder Silk. After 3-4 months on the Silk, their vaginal atrophy will be relieved and may move up to the next level Silver. Using an analogy, Expresso is 3x more concentrated than coffee, but not everyone likes it upfront before they have ever tried regular coffee. After people try coffee for a few months, their tolerance increases and they may want something stronger. Then, it would be the right time for them to switch to Expresso.
