I knew this was going to be small from other reviewers, but decided to get it anyway. It IS small, I'm not sure you could put much jewelry in it, but I made myself a pair of mermaid earrings to put in it and it's basically a pretty knick-knack that I like. I can't believe how much people charge for "cold cast" (e.g. resin) products, but this one is well done. I'm happy with it. Don't expect it to be anything it isn't and you will be too.

Initially I wanted to give this less than 5 stars because it's soooooo tiny and really can't be named as a "jewelry holder" but then I went back and looked at the details and sure enough it says what size it was. So it's my fault for not reading that part. I have a fairy one like this but it's much much bigger so I thought it was the same thing. So other than the fact that the picture is a tad bit misleading this is a darling little piece and I'm sure the friend I bought it for will love it regardless the size.

This little box is gorgeous. The mermaid is so beautiful. This little box is a true delight. It is made of resin and the colors are fabulous. It is around 3 inches tall around 2.5 in width. If you collect these small trinket boxes or know someone who does this is a perfect treasure for you. The magical see theme is unique and very well done. I can highly recommend this piece and the customer service was superb. I love it.

This was a birthday gift for a friend and she loved it. It's a beautiful little box and would probably sell for twice the price in a boutique. Is it small? Yes; the description gives the size. Is it breakable? Yes, it's resin. Does it feel like plastic? Not any plastic I've ever felt. Feels more like metal to me. All of the negative reviews seem to be the result of not reading the description. It comes nicely packed in an attractive box. I would order again without hesitation.

I should have payed attention to the dimensions. I went back and I cannot even find the dimensions. This is a whole lot smaller than the enlarged magnified picture reflects. I thought it would be Jewelry Box size? (whatever that is) The only thing you can put in here is a set of earrings, a ring or two or a whole lot of earring backs. maybe two tylenol? Okay, I'm exaggerating about the tylenol, maybe 4 would fit... Too Expensive for the size imo Positive- it is truly beautiful, nice piece, work of art. Random- It's rather dense, heavy...

My girlfriend loves mermaids, so I wanted to got her this jewelry box, she loved it. However I do wish it was a tad bit bigger, she still enjoys it, but overall great Christmas gift for a great price.
