Works great, easy to set up. If you’ve ever tried to rip an angled cut on a table saw without a guide then you are going to love this taper jig.Nice straight perfect angled rips, I just wish I had found this sooner.

I got this both to cut tapers and to get straight edges on boards so I can joint them and plane them.Setting up is a snap and the parts are all quality. Lots of nice touches like grip tape strips on the top and the rulers are nice and easy to stick on.Limitations: the width of the piece to be tapered is limited but this will work for me. You need to take the miter strip off the bottom (three screws) to use this to rip boards. Not a deal breaker by any means for me, I am just trying to find a place to store it so I do not lose it.I could have built this myself but it would not be this nice and I am happy with the purchase.

Easy assembly and setup. Versatile. Adequate length for most projects. Well constructed. Well packaged. Clear and concise instructions. It’s simple enough and satisfying to make your own, but this product is a good value.

It's pretty straight forward to use. Once I saw how it worked I was able to make the tapered cuts on my table saw. It held It's angle when I made multiple cuts.

I bought this jig to do tapered legs for a couple of end tables believe it or not. The jig is well thought out and works great for that purpose. It's very easy to set up 100% repeatable cuts. The only downside at all is that the miter bar is very long and this jig will not work with typical factory outfeed tables unless they have a miter slot that runs the whole length of the outfeed table.

It works as described, and I used it to make tapered table legs for a walnut dining table. The jig works fine for this purpose. However, this was my first Rockler product purchase, and I found the laminated MDF material to be fragile, and feels a little cheap. The laminate chipped and cracked the first time I used it on my table saw. I have a 52 inch table saw and I am use to using a fair number of jigs. I wish the build quality was better.

Like everything else I have bought from Rockler, this assembled easily from some quality instructions. All the bits and pieces were of the quality that I would expect for a jig of this price point- there were no disappointing weak-link parts. Overall fit and finish are good and it works as intended. I would buy again.

I bought this Jig and it sucked. It flexes too much and doesn't really work well. I used the parts for other things I was building.
