do i need to change any filters or equipment after a certain time?

The machine has been plugging up with minerals every 5  months. Michael says I have to change the 2 interior filters. They both cost about $150. Their website says they last between 11-17 months. Another problem with it :The PH  never teaches the acidity or  the alkalinity nor the ORP is not the same as  as they claim on their website. Over all I have had a very bad experience with the only person who is the customer service. H eis very verbally abusive, if you call him with the problems. At the present i am considering my legal options. beware of the specs. They look good when comparing with other brands, but they are false.

How many electroplate in the system, are they titanium ? how come they only have 2 filter instead of 3, its better?

Electroplates in the system, I believe there are two sets of three, however many there are, it is plenty as this machine work very well. Yes titanium. The machine is built with two internal filters, a great option with an additional external three filter pack for filtering your home well or city water prior to entering Ionizer. I have had my machine for two years and love it!  Regards.

How do you achieve 35 alkaline and acidic levels with only 8 buttons? Which buttons do you press for the additional levels?

Below are the optional reprogramming instructions if you want to change the alkaline and acidic settings:

The water ionizer is currently set on the power setting we feel will be most beneficial for users and does not require any re-programming. However if you wish to change the power setting to get different PH values please follow these directions below to change the power setting on the machine, number 4 is the strongest setting.

1.  Press the power button and turn on the machine but DO NOT turn on the water from the sink.  If your machine is connected below the counter shut off the water valve on the below the sink adaptor.

2.  Press and hold the "MODE" button for about 6 seconds until you hear the voice say
"PLEASE ADJUST THE ELECTROLYSIS SETTINGS"  At the moment in time when the machine is speaking the words "PLEASE ADJUST THE ELECTROLYSIS SETTINGS" Take your finger from the “Mode” button and press and hold the “ultra strong alkaline” button with your finger which was on the mode button.

3.  You will now see the number 0,1,2,3,4 next to the filter 2 portion of the
Screen.

4.  Press the "strong alkaline" or "ultra strong alkaline" button to change the power setting to level 0, level 1, level 2 ,level 3, and level 4 (you will see a number next to filter two 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 to indicate which power setting the machine is on)

(Alternatively to change the acidic water settings press "weak acidic" and
"medium acidic")

5.  Once you change the power setting leave the machine alone for 30 seconds so it saves the changes.

6.  Now turn on the water and try the machine on each of the 4 alkaline buttons to see how the ph and orp change with respect to one another.

7.  You may try all 4 of the power settings to find the ph and orp conditions best suitable to your needs.

Question 4

Will this model go under the sink and hook up to the water line so it's not displayed on the countertop? If not, does Bawell make one for under sink?

Accepted Answer

This machine is a counter top model only.  It can be connected to the kitchen faucet or to the cold water line below the sink.  You must place it on the counter top in both installation circumstances.  If you connect it below the sink, you have to run a 1/4" tube through your counter top to the bottom of the water ionizer so that water can go inside the machine. When you press the power button there is a valve inside the machine that opens and closes to let the water in if you connect it this way.
