Fun clock. The clock is exactly as described on Amazon. All of the exterior parts you can touch, with the exception of the clear face are black plastic. There are no trim pieces. The ring at the top is part of the molded plastic housing and does not move. The clock is designed to hang on a vertical surface such as a wall. If you install this clock in a quiet room you will hear the ticking like any other ~$20 plastic clock. Reading the time from an angle takes a second. The clear plastic face is "warped" to match the clock shape and creates some distortion and reflections when viewing from the side. I have had the clock for several months now and it is keeping time accurately. Interestingly, the clock I ordered was shipped directly to me from China in an individual box. The clocked arrived undamaged, but I may have been lucky since they used light weight packaging. Predicting a delivery from China is difficult and the delivery is quoted with a large tolerance. My clock arrived in 3 or 4 weeks, about 2 weeks prior to the quoted delivery window, as I rememberSeptember 2016 Update - Clock still works and still keeps time accurately.

I love the art and thought that a wall clock inspired by the Dali's melting clock would be a good idea. I still think so but it should not be this one.I have gone through a few of them and neither would work for me. In all fairness the latest the latest one arrived without any scratches and did work for about two months until, like all other previous units, started skipping and running behind. It is either the assembly or the clock mechanism itself that are not done right but I can hear it ticking but the clock hands are not moving.It is sad because I really liked the way it looked on the wall. Well, moving over to the trash bin now.

Perfect! Exactly as cool as it is pictured. We used this for a theatre play set. It is a conversation piece and all of our guests love it and ask where we got it. It runs very well, and we will enjoy this surreal piece for years to come.

The clock came with a noticable scratch on the plastic outer cover. It's ticks incredibly loud. Also seems to be slow on keeping time. I am ordering another, more quiet motor to replace the current one. I really only ordered it because I like the design.

It's just as pictured and just as described, but it arrived with a one inch crack on the right side of the clear plastic face cover, it was hand packed, the crack should of been caught at shipping

Fun clock! We hung this in our game room by the pool table and it's a great conversation piece. Although it has the melty Dali look it's still easy to read.
