After buying several different hose nozzles over the last 5 years, I was determined to find one that would last longer than one year! Just ordered this one after researching and looking for a good quality nozzle. I couldn't be happier with this one! It's definitely better quality and better design. The different spray options offer everything you could ever need or want, and the lever to hold the spray in an "on" position is at the top of the nozzle, not down at the bottom where it can easily get caught and interfere with attaching and detaching nozzle from hose. That problem used to drive me crazy with my other nozzles. I am super pleased with this one!! So much so that I bought a second one for the backyard faucet. Watering is now a joy, not a frustration!

Well made and lasts longer than their competitors. I only buy this brand. I have several and they work well in the garden.

A year later it is holding up well.

I bought one of these Dramm nozzles 3 or 4 years ago at a nursery. Recently it started leaking so I have to replace it, but I must say, it's a very good product overall. The various nozzle options produce a variety of useful sprays. The one for "soaker" puts out a nice, soft, aerated spray that's ideal for watering plants in pots without blasting the dirt around. The "jet" is a really strong blast that's good for cleaning things.Last weekend I picked up a similar replacement nozzle made by Gilmour at Lowe's. It's a nice looking unit with the same settings as the Dramm, so I figured, why not? When I got it home and put it on the hose, I was shocked at how poorly its spray options compared to the Dramm. The "soaker" stream is much too vigorous (useless for watering potted plants), while the "jet" is wimpy compared to my old Dramm. The only setting on the Gilmour that's the least bit useful is "mist", so I'm returning it to the store and getting another Dramm from Amazon. I had figured if two products from different companies looked about the same and had the same features, they'd perform comparably. I figured wrong.

I use these spray heads on the boat and in the yard. In the marine setting they last a good 10 years in salt air, being dropped in the ocean and picked up, being generally used and abused 5-20 times a day, every day, year in year out. After 10 years the paint was corroded and the nozzles corroded, but it still actually worked as well as when i bought it. I did however replace it so it looked nicer on my yacht. I leave it out hanging on the gunwale for easy accessibility, so it is constantly exposed to the salt air, ocean spray and brutal sunshine in this sub tropical location. Frankly i have been very impressed with it. It cleans feet, scrubs the boat, scrubs the dinghies, chases off seagulls, hoses off amazing amounts of pelican "stuff" dropped from the air, etc etc. The only thing i ever did to service this spray head in the ocean environment was apply a little anti-corrosion oil to the brass pull shaft about once a year, to stop it getting stuck.In the yard it gets used for more normal activities, the various settings allow for very precise control of the water flow to carefully water areas needed. The mist function works extremely well for seedlings etc. The soaker function is basically useless, but i never need full flow anyway, the pressure here is too high anyway. The other nozzles all get used for various purposes.this is an excellent all-around spray head. Highly recommended. Given it only costs twice as much as cheap plastic junk and the big box stores, this is a no brainer of a purchase.

Functionality:Leaks all over you as you are watering. At this price point it should have better seals. I don't need to get wet when I am watering or cleaning and this is extremely annoying. missed the return window so I guess I'm stuck with it.

Bought this during winter time and have only recently been able to use it seni regularly. Not one single drip from it when I turn the water on. Seems to be very well made compared to the ones I spent more on at local stores. Found out that one of the local stores in my area carries these but wnt about 20% more for the same one I bought here. It's comfortable to hold and operates easily. Quite satisfied with it.

Top of the line, a wonderful gift for family friends, and neighbors who love gardening, easy to use— moderately priced!
