SoloWIT Earpads for Beats Solo 3 & Solo 2 On-Ear Headphones - Black

Beats on-ear headphones are incredibly frustrating as the actual audio component lasts well over time but after a few years the faux leather cover starts peeling away - by the time I actually changed mine out they were practically bald! But unlike their major competitors, they don't sell replacement pads or make it easy to switch them out. I bought these on recommendation and built up the nerve to pull apart my limited edition colour Beats. The instructions were really clear, including on removing bits you don't think you should be removing, and all you need that it doesn't come with is something like rubbing alcohol or isopropyl to remove glue residue from the original pads. The pads have little "dots" on them which line up with the Beats base to avoid misalignment which I really appreciated. Just one word of warning - USE THE PLASTIC TOOL INCLUDED! I got far too impatient and tried to quicken things up with a screwdriver. It was quicker, but I scratched some colour off of my headphones too! As for the new pads, I'm really impressed and would definitely use them again. Without the screwdriver.

Good replacement. Instructions are not the best. There is a seam, this needs to go at the bottom. But they are well made, are securely fastened. Comfortable. The cushioning is a lot lighter than the originals, which is a shame. That’s what stops a 5* for me as I’m not convinced the padding will stand up to lots of use as it’s squashes easily. But overall pleased and good quality product for the price.

So far so good. Second time purchasing these. Really easy to remove old ones and attach the new ones. If you follow the instructions you can't go wrong. Just double check you are buying the right ones as the sizes are very specific.

Fantastic product, my Beats were starting to peel and fall apart after 6 years and these replacements sorted them. Instructions are clear and sound quality is still perfect. Fit perfect and colour is correct.

Ok my beats 2 pads had given up on me. So I bought these ana replacement. Overall they seem to be fine although not as firm as the original ones but ok. Fitting isn't that difficult but the location pins and holes are a bit fiddly. Unfortunately there's not really an easier option to fit them. You could really mess the fitting up if not careful. Yes I'd buy again as they've stopped a set of headphones looking really shabby and at very low cost

The instructions are quite clear and removing the old ear pads was simple. Aligning the replacement pads require some attention but it’s easy enough for me. Let’s see if the replacement pads will have a longer shelf life than the original ones.
